Whether he gets moved to corner or not I do think he will be a factor a couple years down the road. Very good athlete

So this kid is a Top 250 player with excellent hands who runs a laser timed 4.53 and has a lot of shake.

I think I am sleeping on Will and Tori a little too much. I am expecting basically two more TJ Jones, is that about right?

I think Hunter is more explosive than Jones. But, Fuller yes I can see that.

TJJ 6'0"
Will 6'1" w serious leaping ability
Tori 6'2"

Otherwise probably similar.

Obviously a big go-to guy is needed, but the talents of Tori and Fuller--who both sound llike ballers--will be maximized when Golson scrambles. That's when you want guys who just have a feel for how to get open and move around in the gaps. These kind of recievers kind of get wasted in more conventional offenses.

And kid Robinson will be a great toss up guy in the end zone. How big are our TE? We should get a "Lurch package".

Torii Hunter jr is closer to 5'11" than 6'2'

247 is the only service that lists Torii at 6'1''. The other three all have him at 6'0''.

Which means he's probably 5'6''.

Conversely, 247 is the only service that lists Fuller at 6'0''. The other three all have him at 6'1''.

Just my 2 cents, but I think Jones ended up as an outside receiver purely by accident (he was our 3rd best WR as a freshman), and has held onto it by being a baller. Once he graduates, there will likely be a strong presumption in favor of putting height and strength on the outside.

Usually I would agree here, but historically Kelly has always had one "big" outside WR and an "average" outside WR. At CMU, he had Brian Anderson (6'5") opposite Damien Linson (5'11'') on the outside. At UC, he had Dominic Goodman (6'2/3") and later Armon Binns (6'3") opposite Mardy Gilyard (5'10"). I think it's a matter of BK liking a possession receiver opposite a better "athlete," as the 1 and 2, and not necessarily worrying about a slot guy or size discrepency.

That's a good observation, though I seriously doubt it's intentional; all else being equal, I can't think of a strategic reason why one would want a smaller, shiftier guy over a taller, stronger guy at outside WR (particularly in Kelly's old offense, where he regularly went 4 and 5 wide).

He does, obviously, move his best WR around to prevent defenses from keying in on him, just like he did with Floyd. I assume that's why Linson and Gilyard ended up outside so frequently.

I think it comes down to having one of the outside receivers as a smaller, faster guy that can burn downfield on the deep ball and be elusive in the short game. TJ doesn't have the best speed, and we didn't see him make many "deep" receptions, but he is capable of getting downfield and seems the be the primary target of the majority of the WR screens. That's what Gilyard specialized in at UC. He was primarily on the outside so he could: A) beat the corner on a go-route or B) catch a middle screen.

Though it remains to be seen how it would work if BK had two legit starting-caliber monsters that were both primarily WRs. In that case, he probably goes with both of them on the outside rather than a smaller guy, but it also depends on who the best overall is really.

Semper Fidelis All-American Bowl East Roster Breakdown

Will Fuller, Philadelphia (Pa.) Roman Catholic

Fuller is one of the more speedy receiver prospects in the country and was outstanding on the football field in Philadelphia during his high school career. The Notre Dame commit, who also could project in the defensive secondary in college, is ranked as the No. 55 receiver prospect in the 2013 class by 247Sports.

Tom Loy says as he predicted best WR at Semper Fi. Not much separates him and Robert Foster, very good WR.
