Where would they possibly play him? Certainly not 1st. His body cant't handle 3rd anymore and if memory serves, they've got an aging, broken down 3B already. And I think he's making some coin.

A-Rod won't be back from surgery until at least June so they are looking to bring someone in at 3rd to platoon with Jayson Nix.

I feel like I need a shower.

If Youkilis signs the Yanks still need to address RF and C. Ideally (IMO) the Yanks re-sign Ichiro and have him play RF, but he started talking to other teams after the Yanks dragged their feet on a new contract for him.

I would not be comfortable going into the season with Youk as my primary option at third.

Yanks are also very interested in AJ Pierzynski. I'm hearing that he's interested in playing for the Yanks so he can parlay that into a broadcasting job at YES Network after he retires.

Only way I see him moving is if they do.... And many teams would take him for cheap... He's a cancer because of his contract.
