Definitely one of the greats. I will have to "Take Five" and sip on a nice scotch in honor tonight.

I've had the privilege to see him perform live on several occasions. A true legend. He also was awarded ND's Laetare Medal (in 2006, I believe).

Play Take Five and Blue Rondo A La Turk back to back and leave the planet behind for some soft sailing for a while.

All the leaves of the tree ultimately fall....

New ones will grow, no matter how much some of the old are missed. Thank God for that.
