IMO this doesn't last two years. They only met earlier this year on college game day. Looks likle Ponder is a straight pimp and Samantha Steele = headcase and emotionally unstable.

He has regressed leaps and bounds since that game. After that game, I would have agreed with you. Look up his stats since, if you have the time. It has been a train wreck.

In my opinion, After that game...teams began to have some solid film on him to see what he does really well. Once the Defensive Coordinators took his strengths away...he has been badly found out. We'll see if he goes down the road of learning and turns out good, or like so many other high round quarterbacks recently becomes a dud and the franchise cuts its losses(Jamarcus Russell, Leinart, and Young) My money is on dud. I hope I eat crow.

I agree. Ponder is garbage. I understand the Vikes O-line is a little shaky and his WR corps isn't all that great but he doesn't do anything well. There's nothing I can point to in his game that I can say "yeah he definitely has progressed in this area from last year" or "he does this well at least." He seems to get worse every week.

The Vikings should have NEVER drafted him. They panicked last year when the QB's they wanted (Locker and Gabbert) were drafted before they selected and picked a QB because "we need a QB." We should have just held off drafting one...we may have lost an extra game and then we could have gotten Luck/RGIII. Instead we got Ponder. SMH.
