Hmmm, he's trolling on this thread now.

He was asked politely (which he perceived as a demand) and refused (my interpretation) to provide a good bama forum. He's notinterested in discussion, he's interested in an argument. Hope he truly does leave and "true" Bama fans come over for a polite two-way discussion.

How are you going to feel if you lose?

You over sign, you don't graduate players, and you just lost to ND.

They can't oversign any more in the SEC. And I will feel that same as any fan when my team loses. Crappy. But until it happens, who knows what will happen.....

We win.

This team is not as good as last years, but...we will see.

Palm trees and warm weather.

Congrats on the win! Can you believe it? Notre Dame and Alabama playing for the National Championship!!!!

Epic! The hype will be like nothing we've seen before!

You can already see it by the prices of the tickets. Stubhub is running the price up from all of the hype this game will provide.

If I'm not mistaken the SEC rules still allow rampant over-signing; all the new rule did was address the one year 25 counters. They did NOTHING to limit the signing class to being 85'ish on signing day. If a coach in the SEC wants to sign a class that brings them to 95 post signing day I am pretty certain there is nothing stopping them. They just need to get down to 85 (roster manage) by late summer. slive and the SEC Presidents appeared to be too scared to go to war with the coaches over the 85 number (ie. like instituting something similar to the Big Ten rule limiting teams to 85 + 3 at signing day).

I started wanting this game about week five. As I said, our team is no where near last years, but, win or lose, this is what I wanted.

Once it was clear Notre Dame was in, I wanted you guys too. I want the best, the champs. Only way to put the doubters to bed and the only way to find out how we stack up.

These two teams are built pretty similarly. Saban vs Kelly, game planning will be interesting.

This season will still be a success with a NC game loss. (unless it's like a beatdown by USC under Willingham.) I can't wait to see the excuses by the SEC if they lose. The past decade has been tough, I'm still waiting for the "return to failed glory". I have bought into the success this year, but sitting for 6 weeks and facing AL on big stage will be tough for us.

Tonight when Bama won a nail biter, my next door neighbor (UA grad) and his 5 year old son dove in their pool, clothes and all, as they did to celebrate UA's win over LSU.

While they were cavorting in the pool, I called his wife (Auburn grad and where the 3 kids WILL go after HS). I told her to look out her kitchen window ( it' faces my house) and check out my Christmas Lights which I would fire up now in honor of Bama's win in the SEC CG.

I connected the plug and lit up my 4 foot high Christmas Light version of Grace Hall - Deep South.

#1

She laughed and said, "Georgeous". Then she walked out on her deck and said to her hubby, "Take a look east. It's started!" The whole family came over to check out the light show. Tomorrow the #1 comes off my deck and gets moved to the front gable where the Christmas Star has hung for the past 23 years. All of Alabama now knows who is #1.

I learned tonight that as a young lad my neighbor was taken by his dad to the 1973 Sugar Bowl. I told him how envious I was that he got to see Clements to Weber live. Unfortunately he does not have tickets to Miami this year. Shame, not many people get to see ND win a NC live twice in their lifetime.

GO IRISH!

Pretty funny because people were saying that Bama would be a 15 pt fav earlier this past week. Give me the points and the Irish all day long...............not that they'll need them. I was very unimpressed with both teams today. ND is the more polished team in my opinion. Anyone that says that they aren't are blinded by the SEC bullcra* propaganda through the media.

It was one helluva game, but in the end it came to being prepared.

See you in Miami, and I will buy any green lil guy I see a beer.

Hello Domers... great thread you have here.

Just figured I'd stop in say that we're looking forward to seeing ya'll in Miami. I have to say, the nostalgia surrounding this matchup takes me back to a time that's long since passed... and I think it's great for college football.

Hopefully I'll enjoy a good stay here and talk about this game for the next month or so.

They weren't crying too bad but, the whole board is full of little sniveling b-----s. They are the most sensitive bunch of ****s alive in college football today.

I trolled 'em every way but loose and they finally banned me. I put on the remorseful bit, the innocent bit, the smartass routine, the not doing anything routine, etc... while trying to not respond too negatively to any of the criticisms.

If given free reign, I would have destroyed their board but, I thought I could string it out a little longer so I didn't outright attack. I had one of the moderators come out with about a 7 paragraph rant against me, Alabama, the people in the state, etc... in a pretty sweet melt right before I got blacklisted.

Mods should have guns locked and loaded because with idiots like these posting results like that on their huckleberry boards, the hoards will be endless.

I love how he thinks he could have "destroyed" us haha. I'll never understand the urge to troll another team's message board. It's just such juvenile behavior. I'll read other team's message boards but I never create an account just to rile them up I don't understand it.
