1. Redfield
2. AQM
3. Bryant
4. Treadwell
5. Larue
6. Eddie V
7. Folston

Just my opinion...

Bro, trust me...LaRue is nowhere near Vanderdoesn'twanttogotousc. Not even close. USC was looking to get out of that commitment barely a couple of months after he verballed because they had so many better players left on their board. ND probably wouldn't even take his commitment right now if he wanted to come. He's waayyyy down on our list, and honestly, he's not better than either #6 or #7 IMHO...

Eddie
AQM
Bryant
Redfield
Treadwell

You build a great program with the front 7 so Eddie and AQM are tops. Then we aren't sure we have any every down back so Bryant, then Refield as he is an elite safety. Treadwell is one of the top WRs in this class but this is a weak WR class and we already have a ton commited.

More than anything, I am excited about potentially having players with the names "Do it Tuitt" and "Vanderdoes it" on the same team.

Yep Yep get the lineman. Treadwell would be sweet though if he is Floyd like which I think he has a chance to be. Kelly can manufacture running backs. Always has always will. Get the beasts!!!

These next couple months will be recruiting porn.

I love it as much as the season itself. So weird...

If we're ranking recruits, the famous "top of the list:"

Vanderdoes
Redfield
Alexander
Bryant
Willis
Treadwell
Muhammad
LaRue
Folston

It's tough for me to rank Muhammad near the bottom, because he is an elite player and I want him badly. But, the other players are simply at positions of greater need.

I think some of you underestimate how good Treadwell is.

He is elite, but they all generally are.

I trust Brian Kelly to manufacture offense with the speed he has to work with. It's a lot tough to be an elite defense without the athletic studs. Compensating on defense throws the whole system out the window (which is why Nix needs to come back for 2013).

Ok, I'm open to being convinced. I watched his game last weekend and there is no doubt that he is a good player but I don't think he is a must have. I don't think he is as good as Floyd and I don't think that a WR short of Floyd's caliber is a necessity if we have other talented guys. Tell me what I'm missing in his film or in our team's profile. I want to be convinced

Oh I think he's a stud x 100. Just not sure if he is the RKG. Not saying he isn't, just didn't come across as well as some of the others in interviews, etc.. I'd love to have him, but EV is simply the $#!+.

My list, based on a mix of need, talent, and just because I f'ing want them. Just my opinion and it's my Christmas list after all damn it.

1. Eddie V - Irish Chocolate gone soon, hopefully not too soon. EV is a straight up OL line wrecking beast.
2. Max R. - Stud, 4 years of studlieness. That is all.
3. AQM - loves the Irish. We love him, especially if he has been a silent all these years.. Mad skillz and flexibility.
4. Mack A. or Priest W. - Still hoping. Same as number 2. That is all.
5. Treadwell - Same as number 4. That is all.
6. Bryant or Ty
7. Isaac S - Love me another Hawaiian to carry on the tradition.
8. Folston - starting to doubt his love.... never could read this guy, but I like.

Nailed it.

Might just be that, of the guys on the short list, he's less likely to come here than most. If we're not even in his top five at this point, it's hard to get your hopes up. I'm more excited about the guys I think we might actually land - AQM, Redfield, Bryant - than the guy who's been stringing us along for like a year now.

Last year Dorial Green-Beckham was rated the number one player in the country and hasn't made that much of an impact. Treadwell isn't even on his level in high school and is in a weaker wr class. Great if he joins but not a priority if you ask me.

Come on now, DGB is in the SEC. If he were in any other conference he'd have 1,500 yards receiving and 13 TD's

Right now I think we get Redfield, AQM, and (can't believe I'm saying this) Bryant. I think Bryant has a great visit and commits fairly soon after so he doesn't get shut out like at other schools.

maybe some of the big 12 teams but he still would be behind some of their upper classmen. Regardless of his conference, it isn't like he is just physically dominating at his position. He was labeled nfl ready by many.

Either way we can agree Treadwell is not to his level so we shouldn't expect him to show up here next year and have 1000 yards and 10 tds either.

Didn't think italics were necessary. Lol

Decided I would try my hand at this:

Didn't we get Cole Luke? Along with Devin Fuller, who could play either way?

Isn't the difference between the value of DBG and LT more who is ready to play early that some arbitrary and very relative class rating? It doesn't translate well, and I was never that impressed with DBG, or his family.) And as to having too many wide guys, see Devin Fuller above.

The battle is won in the trenches, or as some great military leader once said, "grab 'em by the nose and kick 'em in the ***!" Oddsmakers say that it is likely he didn't say nose. With both EV and AM, as well as IR, you can grab anyone by the nose and kick them in the ***!

A couple guys, including Bryant have a certain, je ne sais quoi, about them. What, sociopathic sort of "skull dragging" mentality. (Wasn't that guy a hoot. Vegas oddsmakers say he wanted to say skullfuk but thought that may be too much at this prestigious Catholic institution.)

+1

And if you would have told me that about GB even 2 weeks ago, I would have said you are bat **** crazy.

God bless America.

DGB was rated high because of his size I always thought that Diggs would have a bigger impact than DGB in year one. Diggs was having a great year until some ankle problems.

Treadwell goes to the right school he will have a big impact, it matters how the depth chart looks.
