Is that arrest story part of the argument, or just light reading? Lol
It's just to point out an added bonus.
It helps develop the thread, just as young Johnny is developing his game.

Well he may be developing his character as well, avoiding stupid decisions/actions like last June...
I can't judge based on the story. I used a fake ID before I was 21, and I've been in a few fights. Just lucky enough that the authorities weren't rolling through at the time.
Yup.
How many times has our Heisman hopeful been arrested?

When officers asked Manziel for an ID, he produced a phony Louisiana driver's license that showed his birthday as Dec. 6, 1990. Police checked Manziel's wallet and found two more ID cards -- a fake Texas driver's license and Manziel's real driver's license that listed his date of birth as Dec. 6, 1992
I'm not arguing with you, I think Manti should win. Just saying that I won't judge Manziel on one mistake.

I think you have made that clear minus having to spell it out.
But continue if you must.
No really, lets hear it.
Hear what? You continue to beat the anti-Manziel drum, and thus conversation is created. Should we all stop posting if we don't agree with you?
And as for the Forcier thing, I don't buy it simply because there's no possible way that someone's family can be as bat-**** crazy as the Forcier family haha
Where is the "my dad could beat up your dad" element of this study?
*My dad could bust outta Alcatraz.
Now that's a great research topic for added content, nay fodder, to this thread.
Let me look around.
But I think Rees sister could whoop Forcier's sister.
Maybe Manziel has a sister...?
If he does have a sister, well...is she hot?
Unfortunately, no.

But, a twelve pack later and well...
Sadly Johnny will probably win the Heisman but he shouldnt. He played very porous teams out of the SEC. Against Florida he did not play that well and neither against LSU. Yes he beat Alabama and I give him that but Manti has beaten two top ten teams and had huge games against both of them. Winning matters. End of Statement.
P.S. Johnny football is very good at football
Unfortunately, no.

It's funny how everyone's standards go up when they're on the Internet.
Hey guys I was just browsing this board when I came across this thread and wanted to commend most of you for defending JFF's awesome season. I realize we both have our favorite player and support them for obvious reasons but I just wanted to point out a few things and get your thoughts.
First of Manti has had a hell of a year and is for sure a great leader. Hats off to him. Great story and seemingly great character guy. I am disappointed that I haven't gotten to watch more of him this year.
As far as JFF goes its important to notice that unlike Cam and Tebow he isn't all that big so goal line carries are not his specialty. Most all his rushing touchdowns come from farther then 10 yards out. If you look at the stats from LSU, Florida, Bama etc you can see that our RBs get the carries inside the 5. Are you really going to hold that against Johnny in the Heisman talks because his TD totals are down in those games? Heck if our kicker makes half his field goals and all his extra points in those games we are undefeated this year.
As far as the interceptions against LSU its obvious that most people didn't watch the game. One of them literally hit a receiver in the hip in stride and then bounced high in the air for the int. Another was a last minute fourth down "punt" that should have been batted down if the defender was smart.
JFF has more TD's in his last two games then Teo has tackles... Its hard to argue with that. I understand that Teo is an emotional leader but that is hard to quantify. After watching your game yesterday it would be hard for me to say Teo is even the best defensive player on your team (which is a complement to just how good your defense is)
But that is just my opinion and Im sure its biased towards my candidate. Its just hard to argue for a guy like Teo whose value transcends impressive but not outstanding stats against a guy who breaks Tebow/Cams record in fewer games. And did I mention that he has sat out at least 7 quarters of football this year. But thats my argument. Im sure you guys have more important things to think about right now though and I respect that.
tl;dr I respect Teo and what he has done on this great run for you guys but feel Johnny should and will win the Heisman.
I want to rip out my ear drums and my eyes.
I can tell you are sober.
