:s::s::s: Austin Torres - #69 PF #278 OVR (.8000 Rating) 6'6 200

Put that together with 2012's class:

...look out ACC!

(Also it's puzzling that Jackson wasn't a five-star given his >.9800 rating)

The starting lineup coming out of high school: (Rivals' ratings, 247 didn't exist)

G: Connaughton - :s::s::s: #29 SF
F: Martin - :s::s::s::s: #22 SF

It's safe to say that Brey didn't go the "diamonds in the rough" route this time around haha

Bumb for game tonight vs St Joes at 9:30

Hoping for a tie. St. Joes is my big 5 team. Have been going to games there since I was little

With SJU Starting PG Carl Jones out I suspect ND will win this one. PF CJ Aiken is a monster and a future lotery pick.

Not playing well. St. Joe's is up 5 23-18. Their bigs are WAY more athletic and it is showing. Sherman and Cooley have been ineffective inside. Gonna have to shoot well from outside to win tonight.

Jack and Garrick look like statues in comparison to St. Joes big men.

Theyre so much more athletic at the forward postilions.

My Hawks are extremely athletic. ND is really lucky Tay Jones isn't playing. CJ Aiken is a athletic freak.

CJ Aiken was 2nd in the country in blocks last year behind Anthony Davis.

Hanging tough despite the fact that St. Joe's has played extremely well. Thank God the 3's are falling for the Irish tonight!

A-10 guy here (St. Bonaventure Bonnies), St. Joe's is a really, really good team. They have everyone back from last season and are among the favorites in the A-10, the top half of which can compete with any conference in the country.

This will be a close game down to the last few minutes. Brey vs. Martelli.

And Andrew Nicholson gave Aiken the business last season. Cooley should be able to get physical with him and push him around. Big Jack has to stay out of foul trouble and involved in the paint. I was at the 2OT thriller that allowed SBU to make a run in the A-10 tournament (where we beat them again) and get to the big dance. Best game I've ever seen.

Freakin hate Joe's. Let's bury these clowns, Irish.

St Joe's should have no problem with the A-10 this year. They look extremely athletic and did I hear correct they are missing their starting PG?

Again, these athletic teams give ND tons of problems...

1st half area of concern:

ND's inside, they need to quit forcing shots. If they're there, take them. If not, please, please, don't force anything...

1st half strengths:

ND's perimeter scoring.
Martin is on a mission right now.

Impressed by St Joes bigs. Very athletic and guard the basket well. Irish getting nothing easy in the paint. Atkins and Grant must still think it is the offseason. They have showed nothing these first several games.

Xavier, Temple, Butler, UMass, VCU, Richmond, Dayton + St. Louis and St. Bonaventure as tournament teams from last year. Wide open, talented, deep league.

They are shooting the lights out and the Irish are right in the game. Should be a good one.

I forgot about those teams, sounds like an OK league
