This is one of the coolest things I've seen lately. Very well done. Where did they get the original, pre-painted figurine? Anyone know?

Edit: Found the Clay Matthews McFarlane figurine on Amazon for $20. Thought about doing this myself, but there's no way I could make it look that good. Those are highly detailed. Practically flawless when you zoom in.

Those are sick and have inspired me. I am gonna take the idea and run with it myself. RG3 will make a good Golson, Gronk a good Eifert, and as shown Matthews for Te'o. They will make good Christmas presents for my son!

I thought about doing the same thing. Only I wanted ND Legends. Bus, Montana, Rocket, Floyd, Teo, etc. I still can't quite figure out how they got the graphics to be so clean and perfect. It almost looks like a tiny decal added after the paint job. Idk...I do know that there is no way I could have a steady enough hand to paint the tattoo, etc.

I broke my foot and tore some ligaments.
That left me with way too much time on my hands.

I did a Brady Quinn, Bettis, and started a Rocket.
I'll post some pics and will give any advice on how to do them.

Thanks guys.
Here's my Bettis.
I spent a much longer time doing this one.
I used a Shawn Alexander figure since he was listed at 235lbs and that's about what Jerome was as a ND FB. I also liked the fact that they had similar shoulder pads and mouth pieces.
I actually took real athletic tape and taped his shoes before sealing them with a clear coat.

I was halfway through converting a Reggie Bush to Rocket when I went back to work.
Haven't touched it since.

I've got a bunch of these things, like 20 or so figures still in their boxes.
Was planning on converting Montana, Brown, Strahan to Bryant Young, Cedric Benson to Hughes, Cadilac Williams to Ricky Watters... just never did.


It's actually a lot simpler then it looks.
I have zero artistic talent and was able to pull these off.
Just need some patience and practice.
