So as we all know, this Saturday is Senior Day for our beloved seniors. With all of the conversation going on about the BCS nonsense, I think its important we truly appreciate where ND is as a team, and what these seniors and the team have accomplished. This is going to be a really nostalgic Saturday for obvious reasons, as we look back on the last 4 years for these seniors to where they have helped bring us today, to 10-0.

Anyway, who's going? I have been debating all week on whether to go, as I really want to save $ for a bowl game to wherever we end up (hopefully Miami!). I don't think I can resist going this weekend, as I really want to take in the environment on Saturday and appreciate where this team is now.

Also, just read Fortuna's article on Manti's last game. It's pretty good, and got me really emotional about his last game. He has 40 family members coming in from Hawaii.

As Manti Te'o says goodbye to South Bend, he leaves an impact larger than football - NCF - ESPN

I will be there with my wife and 4 kids and celebrating my 40th birthday! First game for both of my youngest sons and they are big Manti fans. I cant wait to listen to the crowd go wild when his name is announced. I will be yelling for all our seniors but Manti wil get a great ovation as he should!

Anybody up for Barnaby's Friday night around 7:00? Just trying to think of ways to meet some of you fine fellows and ladies where we can talk Notre Dame football instead of all the ills of our country. I am hoping to get to South Bend in time for the Irish Trumpets (my son plays trumpet), then head to the pep rally.

I'm willing to meet if I get there in time. I would also like to see the trumpets. That is at 4 pm correct? I'm going to try to hit the road by 9 am if everything goes right. That would put me in somewhere right at 4.

I will be there with my Pops! First game I've been too and he hasn't been since 02! Can't wait to watch ND kick some *** and explore the prestigious university I will attend in a few years! Go Irish!

I'm sure GO IRISH and I wouldn't mind meeting up with some of you guys Friday night, but we'll be around campus and will probably stay around there. Probably meet for dinner with my wife and baby after work (and the pep rally), and then be free to do whatever after that. Anyone who wants to meet up send me a PM.

After the game, Brothers also sounds good, to watch the Oregon/Stanford game.

I have a question about parking that i really haven't been able to find a sure answer to online. Any help would be appreciated.

I'm meeting up with a group of around 15 people that have rented a party bus from Chicago. Does anyone know for sure that they will be able to park in white field for $125 and if so will I be able to park near them? I know I've seen some small campers in WF before, but they were kind of in their own little area. I'd like to be as close as possible so I don't have to carry coolers and grill etc all over the place.

does anyone have any contact info for someone at ND we could talk to about parking? Would like to have it figured out before getting off the turnpike to make it easy. Thanks bros.

Does this help at all?
RV Parking

RV parking is permitted in the lot near the intersection of Pendle and Juniper (just north of campus), as in the past. This lot is not accessible via the new road into White Field at Toll Road exit 77. RV parking fee is $125 per game for the 2012 season and is available to purchase the day of the game. Parking passes for RVs are not available to purchase in advance.

Yeah I saw that already. That is part of White Field. I guess my biggest question is whether a party bus is considered an RV, a bus, or a regular vehicle. Bus parking is southeast of the stadium, white field completely other side. I'd prefer not to have to drive all over and fight through traffic if I can avoid it.

"Manti-Mania" is well deserved, but don't forget about the other guys who have been up to their elbows in blood and guts with him the last 4 years! Especially Slaughter and co. who won't be able to play!

GOD BLESS OUR SENIORS!
