I actually thought Everett. We still win without Shembo's performance, not without Everett's.

Went with EG but absolutely loved Bennett's contribution tonight, he looked locked in when the defense was struggling and I think he lit the wick, or primed the pump, so to speak

Seriously? I thought Bennett looked like he was floating on a dingy most of the night. He played well in spots, but was a disappointment overall. I feel that USC got some noggin' knowledge off the past two weeks in how to shut us down defensively, especially attacking our linebackers.

Actually I disagree, We could have won with an average QB performance but we needed Shembo tonight. It is not just the sacks but he must have had 5 plus other QB hurries. He lived in Rettig's grill all night.

I voted for Theo but as I clicked I realized it should have been Shembo. He was consistently in the back field.

I went with Bennett. I just felt like he was attacked quite a bit with this BC passing game and he played well all night. He had a good number of tackles and some pass deflections. Not taking away anything from Everett and Shembo, they both played well. Props to Irish Chocolate for protecting a teammate, although it sucks he had to leave the game.

Golson Is crazy in the pocket. There was a couple times where it seemed like he had a minute to throw the ball and just danced around. I still wish he would hold the ball tighter.

Mike Golic.... He was the only thing keeping me awake in the back half. Boring game.

Everett was good.. I suppose.

Scratch that.

I give the game ball to Texas A&M.

Nobody did more for our title hunt yesterday than Johnny Football.

I agree. Golson should get the game ball this week and Shembo should've gotten it last week. Golson had a few inaccurate throws but no turnovers and some of those third down runs were really magic in how he found ways to run for first downs.

It was kinda funny, he got the ball and had to get up in front of everybody but he didn't know the words to th victory march.

Agree. It is interesting that nobody used running back screens against our pressure front 7 until the Pitt game. USC- being more of a pro style offense- I'm sure will take note.

Add in the fact that they are a better team throwing the ball downfield- which will mean it will be even more important to pressure Barkley- and it adds up to us needing to have a strategy to pressure while being more aware of the screen game.

UCS's offensive line has 4 of the 5 offensive linemen back from an O-line that dominated us last year. Thankfully, Kalil is gone. Still, it is a concern.

i have to say Shembo, animal out there. i thought EG had a great game. one thing i hope to see in his development is that touch pass with a little loft. he used that with the TD to Hercules but could've had another TD to Robby had he just thrown it with air into the corner on that scramble. overall, minus the fumbles, we put in a workman-like performance.
