Nice depth chart. To the extent it might help you, here's mine.

A few nits:
  • Fuller probably starts his career at Z WR.
  • I know they seem too tall to be interior linemen, but some of those guys you have listed at OT will be moving to OG.
  • As others have stated, Brindza will probably be punting for us next year.
  • So many talented RBs, and not enough touches to go around. Carlisle may see more time at Z WR next season if he can't break into the RB rotation.
  • DB is where our projections differ the most. Won't bother reiterating what my depth chart already shows. Most notably, I expect Shumate to move back to SS sooner than later, and if any moves to CB from S, it'll be Hardy.
  • If both Calabrese and Fox come back, Calabrese probably moves to MILB and "quarterbacks" the front-7. If the staff thinks Grace is ready for that, there's little reason to bring Calabrese back.
  • Anzalone probably starts his career at WILB, and given our lack of depth inside, moving Rabasa to WILB probably makes sense as well.
  • Deeb strikes me as a MILB, and Randolph as a ROLB.

I can't really disagree with any of this. I think Fuller as of now is probably a better fit body wise for the Z, but I don't see him playing immediately anyways because he's so slight. Maybe a redshirt year gives him enough time to physically get to the point where he can play the more physical X? Clearly somebody is going to have to move inside on the OL, but who? Elmer and McGovern both 6'6", Bivin at 6'7", and McGlinchey at 6'9"? With a QB in Golson who is at best 6 feet even, that could be problematic. I like Shumate at S as well, but he's been so good at CB this year I hope he gets a chance to prove he belongs there. Totally agree if Fox and Carlo both come back they are our 2 starting ILBs with Carlo at Mike, I just don't think they both do. I like Anzalone better than Randolph on the outside, but as I said, the positions for the new guys are pretty much just straight up guesswork at this point.

Also, do we have a list of guys who could actually be next? I.E. a list of guys we are still recruiting and have shown even a minimal amount of interest in ND recently? Guys I can think of off the top of my head are:

- Al-Quadin Muhammad - DE/OLB - NJ
- Khalfani Muhammad - RB - CA
- Tarean Folston - RB - FL
- Mackensie Alexander - CB - FL
- Cole Luke - CB - AZ
- Max Redfield - ATH (S) - CA
- LJ Moore - CB - CA
- Deon Hollins - OLB - TX
- Laquon Treadwell - WR - IL
- DeMarcus Robinson - WR - GA

Anyone else you guys can think of?

Anyone else agree that are class will be completed very soon since the Luke commitment. This shows the recruits that they need to hop on quick or your gunna miss out, could cause AQM to just commit now and redfield to hurry up

You end with AQM and Redfield and then on signing day if an elite or 2 surprises us(in a good way) I'm thrilled!

Build a wall around who we have. AA is a wildcard, will do whatever he does, but keep everyone else

I think we take Redfield and AQM and then if Alexander and treadwell want to come you have to take them no matter what. There is also a good chance that one of Mattingly or Anzalone decommit

Really like Mattingly but I agree something just seems off with his situation. I like the idea of Robinson as well. Having a few stud Georgians on the team already has to help!

So with Luke committing does that mean we tell Alexander thanks but no thanks. Because Alexander IMO is the equivalent of gettinga guy like Tuitt in that he is one of the top 5 at his position.

Agree with GB that I think Anzalone sticks but Mattingly stays out west and Decommits.

End with:

AQM
Redfield
+ 1 more surprise like Mack Alexander, Treadwell, D Robinson that you can't turn down.

Tough to say but according to TV, we are trending down with Mack even though he listed as his leader lol

If he wants in you take all day long. I agree with your assessment.

If Nix leaves, who would play NG? Think we should get another DL.

there are no quality DT left in the class, the staff isnt really pursuing a DT this year... Enoch Smith in the 2014 class is their prime candidate. Early rumblings seem to suggest that Nix plans on coming back.

AQM
Redfield
Folston
Best available (Alexander, Treadwell, Robinson)

I expect a transfer or at least one decommit (it happens to every team these days)

You think we add 4 more commits? I just don't see us having the room, as nice as it would be to finish with that group.
