our wr's are not that bad, but most spread offenses move at a fast pace which is hard for receivers to stay on field for 12 play drives. 2 deep at every position would be preferred.

Always can afford to add playmakers! However I am of the opinion that next year we could be looking at the best overall receiving core we've had in awhile (No, not better talents than Tate and Floyd were together). Purely from a numbers perspective. Jones, Daniels, Neal, Brown, and Ferguson gives us 5 what I think are going to be top notch receivers.

That's what I was wondering. If he is committing next week but still taking a visit to ND then why commit? Unless he is committing to ND.

If he is committing to OSU why would they take his commitment? Why not just tell him to wait? I guess it makes him more likely to stick with OSU in that case.

It's not like he is running out of time and/or space at the schools he is looking at, he is a '14 for goodness sake.

reason being is that he is a 2014 recruit...why announce a committment when you are already planning to visit other places and considering others...no problem in that, but why even commit then...he still has 2 years of visiting and then make a decision

but that isn't 2 years away...these kids know that the train was filling up..big difference imo..but its not anything that is going to change..just increases the chance of a decommittment

Agree on the not going to change. Committments are coming earlier and earlier. Personally, I think coaches are pushing it so that the NCAA adds the early signing period.
