this qb is tough. does anyone know if jake heaps is still on the byu squad? i remember him being highly touted coming out of HS

Eh, that's cool. I'm not going to fight with you because I really don't care. But, you really are quite confused on what the definitions and expectations / skill sets of what scramblers / pocket passers are. You're probably thinking of "option QBs" and not scramblers. They both are certainly not option QB's, but they are most certainly "scramblers" by definition.

Anyway, who cares. How about this D!!! Go Irish!!!

I think you're interchanging with Spread Option QB with Scrambler and Spread Option QB with Option (Triple Option) QB.

A Scrambler is any QB that can run effectively when a play breaks down. It's not unique to a formation. He can be a Pocket Passer, Fran Tarkington was the prototype.
