Rough first half no doubt about it. Gotta swing the momentum our way early in the third. Time to see this offense step up and help the D out!

Anybody but Reese please...put in Gunner Kiel if you have to. The offense is so predictable when Reese is in there. He always stares down Eifert.

I dont care what he does, all i know is that Kelly BETTER change something up with the offense...i bet he'll seriously consider golson

He isn't going to change the offense. We have been an average offense this season thats not going to change.

It's pretty sad when "solid pre snap recognition" is the best compliment you can give the starting QB of the 5th ranked team in the country.

Also, just like to add. I respect Tommy a whole lot. We are the same age, and the amount of pressure he has been put under through his three years and the way he has handled it has been tremendous. However, he is not ND quarterback material...he just isn't. I appreciate everything he has done for the program and would shake his hand if I ever saw him in person. But, he just isn't the best option in a spread offense NO WAY NO HOW. switch it up kelly

Kelly has had three years to put together a good offense. Why cant his team score points consistently? Why cant they protect the QB? Does Diaco need to take over the offense too?

The bad coaching isn't from playcalling or anything related to it.

Kelly didn't miss tackles, miss blocks, miss field goals, drop balls, or throw bad passes.

The only thing Kelly did wrong, and that's not saying it's ok, was to not have this team focused. Really though, the blame needs to be spread. The team isn't focused.

The only thing I know is that if we lose by 7 or less points, I will be so ****ing pissed because that was not a catch on their 2nd TD. It clearly hit the ****ing ground

My god learn how to spell the players names!!

+10000000.

Good lord, there's no excuse. You all follow this team religiously. It's not Reese. It's not Golsen or Gholson or Gholston. It's not Kelley.

He won us the Purdue game and Stanford game. Give him a break. I'd much rather him miss these two field goals then the one at the end of regulation against purdue and stanford.

I'm sorry...but as a D1 kicker anything in 30 should be routine...sure he nailed those two kicks but other than that...he's been shaky at best...add to that those two said kicks were inside 32yds...not like he kicked a 45+yds kick to win/tie

I feel like I've warped back to the year 2011.

Yeah I wouldn't be surprised to see Tausch. College kicking is finicky at best it seems, but missing chip shots is unacceptable.

14-13 would be great right now.

I won't say nothing is to blame on Kelly. I have long said that either tommy or Kelly are taking too long between plays. Seeing a couple things today makes me think its Kelly. No reason to be making the snap with 5 or less on the clock every play. This makes a forced decision necessary because you're thrown off your play before it begins.

Agreed. Makes the halftime speech a little better. Completely unfocused and down only one? Much better.

Keep in mind too, BYU starts with the ball in the second half. We'll know right away if halftime made a difference.

It's actually very bad coaching in my eyes. Starting TR and taking the ball first are both VERY poor moves. A good high school D could defend against turnover tommy...rush 3 or 4 and drop the rest....cakewalk for any defense.

I would like to see hendrix in the 2nd half.

We have seen this same song and dance before.

IF Byu scores a TD on this frist drive it is going to be tough to come back from 14 down. Not saying it can't be but it will very tough.

I understand your frustration, and wonder that same thought too. But to be fair, the 3 guys before him had 12 years to put a solid D together. Can't say I don't miss the Quinn/Clausen offenses scoring 35+, but I think we can all agree that the emphasis on defense has been a good change in philosophy.
