Yeah, why would Notre Dame want a 2 hour infomercial on ESPN. I do not see the positive in that at all.

Yeah we may not like them and the way they cover us, but ESPN has been hyping us pretty hard this year as well, especially Herbie and I remember Jessie Palmer having some good things to say about us. And also, recruits eat this stuff up. You think they're leaving their TVs tuned to NBC on a Saturday morning? Heck no. They've got it on ESPN 24 hours a day, and if we get to take up all the airtime on a Saturday morning then I'm going to put aside any issues I have with ESPN and embrace that.

I can also tell you that on the train from Chicago to South Bend after the game last night, news of this spread like wildfire and everyone was so excited. Students are already planning their campouts for it and what kind of signs they'll make, etc. It's a huge huge deal.
