I posted this in the other fantasy thread, but wanted to make sure the word got out quick as we would have to have a draft somewhat soon. Anyone interested besides Junkhead and myself in such a league - we did one last year which was pretty fun besides LA's fluky gift-wrapped championship, and would like to set one up again for this year. Let me know if your interested and going to actually check your team weekly (we hate absentee owners), and lets get rolling.

just FYI - I created an Irish Envy college football betting league if you want to join. There's no limit to participants so the more, the merrier.

Cliff notes is you start out with $10K of fake money and make bets on college football throughout the year. Whoever has most at end of season wins. Kind of like pick em, but a little different and not as time consuming... and it's free.

Nah, I wish. LA beat me in the title game when RGIII went down for me. He had a really solid team.

Really like it though, so wanted to do it again. Hopefully we can get enough guys.

Yup, except you get to choose from players from all 120 D-1 schools.

Anyone interested in ESPN's College Football Challenge? I did it last year and liked it a lot. Fantasy-esque, but you make your picks every week from the entire pool of FBS players. I can make a league if others are interested. Let me know.

Can a brother get a retro-championship trophy? I dedicated the victory to my wife, and she is still awaiting her trophy. Or some vbucks (you know women).

The giftwrap was handled on draft day when I took Casey Keenum (sp) and then I stole Robert Woods. Jumped out to a 4-0 start and then daughter was born and she put a curse on my team b/c she didn't want Daddy to start gambling again like he did in college. So i lost 4 straight, promoised my baby that I would keep it under control this time, broke the curse, and well, you of all people know the rest of the story...
