'14 IL LB Clifton Garrett (LSU Verbal)

A) I like where we stand for right now. That's not saying we are at the top, but definitely firmly in the mix. I could see him wrap this up by the start of his senior season.

B) This kid seems way more like an ILB when it's all said and done to me. He plays very square to the line and reads the run very well (based on the limited film). He is great at run stuffing at the LOS. All this points to a stud ILB to me, not OLB. Anyone care to shed some light on why 247 has him rated as an OLB?

The lack of logic from that post is amazing. Yes, ofcourse in two years time our QB will suck, Kiel n Golson have no potential.

Yessir! Give us Garrett and Trumbetti all day long. These are kids that will be apart of reloading instead of rebuilding. That's at least how I am starting to see it. We have been spoiled lately in recruiting and I'm just all broken up about it.

Cliftons an ILB. Loved his visit to MSU today. Says he "fell in love" thats what Zaire said before he committed to ND... Tonight he got a follow from Manti on twitter though, and is talking to Justin Brent, 2014 commit and a ND target Bobby Baze. Chatsports will interview him tomorrow

That sucks, really would like to land this kid. I think we need to make our presence felt again in IL on the trail. There's an awful lot of talent in that state that we should be getting year in and year out and that's just not happening the way it should be.
