Te'o + Eifert + Slaughter are the only locks right now. Slaughter, unlike the others to be discussed below, is a lock to be drafted simply because of his versatility (assuming he doesn't get injured this year). With a good year and not another injury Kapron has a solid chance of getting drafted late. Cave is in a similar position to Kapron, needs a good year and no injury. I don't think Motta has much of a chance at all of getting drafted.

Then you have your "leave early" crew. Martin will get drafted whenever he decides to leave. Cierre has potential with a breakout year and no injury. And Nix could play himself into being a 2nd/3rd rounder or not draftable yet. Needs to show he can be great for a multitude of snaps in a game and stay in shape. Everyone else needs a "breakout year" to work themselves into the draft discussion.

Eifert and Te'o are the only locks right now because they are the only players who would have been drafted if they left last year. If Nix were to go pro he'd be drafted. Wood would be a nice late round pick and Slaughter, Martin, and Cave would have a chance.

I think slaughter has a chance to be a high pick(1st through 3rd round) if he has a year similar to last year and continues to improve. A few games last year he was our best player on the field by far such as air force.

Te'o - 1st rounder
Eifert - Last 1st Rd/Early 2nd Round (Doubt he stays)
Wood - 3rd Rd (Doubt he stays)
Slaughter - late 3rd/Early 4th
Z. Martin - 4th - 5th rd (Could stay)
KLM - 5th
Cave - 6th

Hopefully Nix stays, but if he does go, not really sure where to put him...

I realize Nix would be eligible to go, and, with what he comes from, might jump at the chance to make some money. But isn't it a little early? Guy's only played one season, and he wasn't an every down player.
I'd think he'd have a hard time breaking into the first three rounds unless he utterly dominates in 2012. And, with his upside, and the talent he'd be playing with in 2013, if he's not a first or second-day pick, why jump early?

I agree. If he has season is like his previous ones he'd have to have a Dontari Poe-like combine to go on the first day. Not hating, just that only the top 4-7 DT's (in scouts' opinions...) go on the first day. He could probably play as well as Jerel Worthy, but even he went in the 2nd round despite being 1st All America.

If Chris Watt leaves...he would be drafted no doubt in my mind. Not saying he would be a first day pick but I feel he hasnt even scratched his potential. Kid is going to thrive in a zone blocking scheme.

I agree. He is the offensive guard I like most.
