Michigan doesn't get 4 :s: running backs?

What he said. ^^^

I think it's probably a two team race now. He's taking his second visit out to USC so his mom can see it, and according to a Michigan site that did an interview with him and broke the news of the USC trip, he will also likely make another trip to Ann Arbor with Mom sometime this month or next.

Michigan already has a 4* back this class in Deveon Smith, but Ty is definitely the #1 guy at RB on their board.

I hope everyone is wrong. To lose an A1 talent from a Catholic shool in your backyard is a bit rough. Need to build those pipelines.

He's pretty much all USC at this point. He'll probably visit Michigan soon with his parents, but it's looking really, really good for USC. One of my friends at USC told me that he told some players that he'd sign there, and this is from a guy who has never bs'd me before. Only chance we have is if he waits...

We'll see. USC thinks they will get everybody, and they usually do so lol.

One of the Michigan sites is saying that a visit to Michigan will take place within the next couple of weeks.

I think it's obviously a pretty close race with Michigan and USC, but I just don't think Ty told any USC commits or players that he's coming. That kid seems to play things pretty close to the vest. Just my two cents.

Well I don’t like the sound of that, I’m just glad this isn’t an area of need for us at this point.

Forget what I said, just read his twitter account, then read the articles after his recent visit, and then read USC's premium boards, and you'll see that what I said is entirely plausible; in fact, you could bet it happened. My guy has never steered me wrong when it comes to this stuff, and he isn't a sunshine pumper who thinks everyone is going to SC.

Now, things could change, as recruits say those things all the time during the euphoria of visits. But put twenty and twenty together and you'll see that USC has a very nice lead here, unfortunately. But dad supposedly wants him at UM because of the distance factor, so this is by no means a done deal...

Can we at least all agree that wherever he ends up, it's not gonna be ND?

and that is why II has the article "Irish focused on Folston" right next to the Ty Isaac "Three on Top" recap. I think we are clearly trailing, he is not feeling the spread offense.

Looks like we're gonna have to start winning games on a consistent basis before we start to get serious looks from the elite RBs (hoping Green proves me wrong). That, and a good season for Wood wouldn't hurt...

Us "focusing" on Folston make me think Green is more of a long shot than you and I probably hoped. Winning and Wood killing it would probably help...

The comfort we can take in all of this is the depth we currently have. Win 9+ this year and we land an elite back next year.

Corey Robinson doing work

“@CoreyRobinson13: @TyIsaac hey man, I'm a 2013 WR commit to ND. Just wanted to say what's up. You'd look fly in blue and gold dude. #justsaying #GoIrish”

He didn't even name drop his dad? Must be saving that as his ace up the sleeve.

Yeah. Seems like a waste of time frankly. Dont see anyway of us landing Isaac. Gotta admire the spirit though

I feel like if we still had Weis and his pro style offense he would already be Irish.

While probably true, I'll take missing out on Isaac for Kelly and his other recruits. Though if the spread doesnt start working soon I'll wonder if this is the system for ND

This is so nonsensical it's hardly worthy of a response.

The spread is supposed to be a great passing scheme, the offense aside from the run game last year hasn't been what it could be during Kelly's tenure. IMO
