First 5 years at MSU. Also, Saban never won a bowl game while there (he left before the 99 Citrus bowl).

Yea, he was a good coach while at Michigan State (which is a much more comparable job to Notre Dame), but it wasn't until he went to a school where, to put it mildly, they are much less strict with regards to admissions and discipline, was able to oversign on a yearly basis, and was able to stash players into what is essentially a minor league JUCO system did he suddenly turn into a great coach.

I think he's a very good coach. I don't think he could reach near the type of success he's had at Alabama at a school like Notre Dame.

I disagree there are alot of young men that are very smart and can play football. Look at some of the kids we have gotten, look at the kids that standford has gotten. Not meniton all the kis we have offed that would be able to come and chose other places. If he were to come here the good players would come here.

I'd give her about a 6 and would most assuredly destroy her but nothing special IMO.

First and foremost, I'm sorry I started the whole, "He has a hot daughter," mess...if the above is the best it is. I saw a pic of a brunette girl on a search that was pretty smokin'. This blonde is okay, but I wouldn't stake my reputation on her-- she's attractive, but definitely not anything to write home about. If I knew how to embed, I'd put a pick of the brunette I found online.

As for the 2nd part regarding Saban at MSU and LSU: Woneone brings up a valid point, but I'd also like to point out that LSU is far and away the top dog, alpha male school in a talent-rich state. The other D-1 schools in Louisiana are laughable programs (and even more so 12 years or so ago when Saban took the LSU job). In Michigan though, MSU will always be little brother to another school (and you can say what you want about their current win streak over UM right now in football...or even the success the b-ball team had in the late 70's and under Izzo currently), but UM has always been THE team and THE school in Michigan. My point is, Saban ain't a stupid dude. He knew the prospects of success would be greener going to a place such as LSU. Could he have won a Natty at MSU? Possible...but not probable. And that's probably true for every coach we can conceive of right now.
