There will be a DB named in the near future. They are trying to get an offical for later this month. It's not J Brown or Will Hill

Man, what's up with people? Can anything be mentioned in the VC without it being mentioned out here within a few hours? :) ;)

Well I think its safe to say its not a safety. My guess is a cover corner like Xavier Brewer or someone that fits that mold.

Oh and I'm going to throw a random guess out there. Jarred Holly. He was really, really high on us before. And we seemed to like a lot about him, but never got around to offering.

this class is beyond incredible; we hardly talk about guys like poz who is the little brother of the best lb in the country 2 years ago. thats how good everything is right now. the bond this class has developed is amazing. i cant wait to hear stories in the coming years after notre dame wins the national title about how these guys all stuck to their word after the 3-9 season and believed they could come in and bring nd back to the glory days.

anyone else just makes it that much more exciting.

No, it's not him. This guy is supposed to be completely new to the Irish radar, and he was supposedly at the AAA Bowl, but it's not Boubacar.

Hopefully it's Golden, he was impressive and his name is a perfect fit for ND

I would say your real close miller. My other guess(after alot of research) would be Rahim Moore the soft verbal from UCLA. It would supprise me if it wasn't either of these two.

If all the info that I've run across so far is correct those were my two guesses too.

Thanks for the info. Sounds like Charlie and company are going to keep real busy until signing day.

Quote from Star Tribune Article

Floyd said his goal today is to catch a touchdown pass, but it has already been a memorable experience. One of 15 Notre Dame recruits in the game, he's gotten to know his future teammates better. He's also made two new close friends in California defensive backs Robert Golden and Rahim Moore.

Floyd earns start for all-star bowl

Come on Mikey ..... make a few phone calls to those two new close friends. LOL

Thank God for that ... I wouldn't want that overrated midget. Red zone coverage at the college level against gifted 6'4" - 6'5" WR's ... change his name from Boubacar to "burnt toast"?!

Either of these two players would be great. I don't know how much interest this mystery man has in ND but I would think that ND has a great deal of interest in them. With the transfer of prince a DB spot has opened up on the roster. I wouldn't be surprised at all if the staff is pushing hard to fill it with a high caliber player like golden or moore.
