I suppose a lava floe would take precedence over an ice floe. Howsomever, I would think that Alaska, with its sheer size and many islands stretching across the Bering Sea on their way to Sarah Palin's Russia would seal the deal.

The problem can be stated more clearly in the chaos theory. The same pattern runs through everything, as exemplified by Sierpinski triangle, you see, there are no such things as dimensions, just different levels of organization . . .
