I was wondering if anyone follows any other teams(excluding pros) besides the IRISH.

I pull for ND, I go to APP. ST. games all the time, and I go to Mars Hill College games all time. Some of you may think APP because of their recent success but I live 25 miles from them and worked there parking cars for football games many years ago. I've always like these three schools and their football programs. ND is my D1, APP is my D1AA, and MHC is my D2 school. I also pull for who ever my famous couz coaches: Paul Johnson. When I went to ND to watch them play Navy I wish someone could have seen Paul's face when he seen four of his family members decked out in Irish jersey's. Needless to say he wasn't excited about it, but it was priceless.

My immediate family all moved to Boise w/in the last 7 years so I follow Boise State. I started following them at the end of Koetter era. They are a fun team to watch and root for....that Fiesta Bowl win vs. Oklahoma was awesome.

I used to follow Colorado State when my uncle was coaching there, too.

Also.......BIG SIGH......I follow the University of Montana because I have no choice. For about 2 years they blocked out ND on NBC Montana affiliates to air the Griz games. Sure, they've been nice for the state because they are highly successful in the FC Subdivision, but blocking out ND totally soured me on them.

We also have a lot of NAIA Football out here in the west. Carroll College is 60 miles up the road from where I live. They have won 5 out of the last 7 NAIA National Championships. They graced the cover of Sports Illustrated's 2007 Pictures of the Year Edition. But they are also my school's biggest rival. Montana Tech and Carroll is a great game (actually games....they play twice a year). Physical, hard fought, hard hitting and usually close.

I'm strictly a regional guy, and I grew up in Orange County and I live near LA, so all my favorite teams are from LA/OC (Angels, Lakers, etc). The only national team I root for is ND, and unfortunately (at least lately) I put my heart and soul into them!

I also root hard for the UCLA Bruins. I have 2 brothers and a sister that graduated from there. UCLA basketball is huge in our house.

i go to purdue and am pretty knowledgable on purdue football... but it is boring as crap so i dont really get into it. notre dame is the only college football team i love.

i love purdue basketball though.

I am a big proponent for the MAC. I went to Bowling Green State University and follow their program as best as I can. It's good to see some of the Big 10 and Big East teams playing Toledo, NIU, Central Michigan, Ohio, Miami, BGSU etc...

Born in raised Irish Catholic in eastern Kansas, so GO IRISH & Rock Chalk Jayhawk!! None of the different team different sports stuff though, I bleed w/ ND and KU whether its football/basketball or tiddly winks.

yep I love KU...


always have for some wierd reason... I grew up outside LA with a UCLA family but have always pulled for in this order

1.) ND (by far)

2.) KU
3.) UCLA
4.) East Carolina (yeah I liked them since HS when Gerrard was their QB.... seriously)
5.) Mississippi St.


It's not a Football basketball thing, I pull for them i the same order regardless of sport

My dad went to ND and my mother went to St. Mary's. So I grew up on Notre Dame. Still think I have some anti Faust button around somewhere. I went to Tulane, so I root for them obviously. My brother went to Duke so I root for them too. My mother's boyfriend went to U. Pennsylvania so they are in the mix. I live in Boise, but I got to say that Bronco mania gets annoying. I can go food shopping today at Fred Meyer's and watch that Oklahoma game on a television display there. That game was awesome, but after seeing it everywhere, it gets a little tiresome.

i am a huge college football fan in general.

i have no qualms saying i will root for whatever team i am interested in at any given point in time. i like to watch the game and will really watch just about any game.

i however do have many hated teams that i wish nothing more for than a loss. those also tend to change with the times, i hated miami for years in the 80s but the last 8-9 years happen to like them. however i will always hate michigan and usc.

People in Montana used to like Moose Drool but once they started expanding their operations and shipping to other states we hardly see it anymore. The beer distributor I worked at for six years carries Big Sky Brewing and I can't tell you how many tap handles we lost because everything was getting shipped to OR and WA!! Have you tried Big Sky Summer Honey? It's the best beer Big Sky makes!!!
