Solid history lesson, nonetheless...we should still expect to beat USF.
I guess we shouldn't ignore history, but we're not the players.
The past is the past and I for one, as a fan, don't really want to go around having to over sell every opponent because we've been upset in the past.
Also, I don't think naming the Michigan, USC, or Stanford games as being the most important to the season necessarily means that we have ridiculous expectations for 2011 and that we have to pull back and say, "Whoa guys, we'd better lower our expectations and take this one game at a time."
I expect us to methodically cut off USF's head in a month....a 1926 loss to Carnegie Tech be damned.
Plus, I don't think Brian Kelly will be going to Ann Arbor on Sept. 3rd to scout UM.
