Pueblo Vida Microburst Pale Ale
32oz growler of Modern Times Night Tides DIPA. Phenomenal.
Firestone Walker Parabola 2017. I have heard complaints since this was brewed by Boulevard instead of Firestone but it was still great if slightly simple. Loads of cherry, chocolate, some vanilla all drizzled in a bourbon syrup.

Mostly....tons of barrel aged. Nothing like the main stream ciders.

Repairman never got to my place until 7:30; the whole AC and heater are f*cked, so it's gonna be another chilly night. Started with a generic cheap single coffee porter that was forgettable, then my buddy's home brew barleywine, which was fantastic. Now I'm wearing a bourbon coat to bed hoping that the heater will work by the time I get home tomorrow as an hour won't be enough time to build a beer coat.

That is good news. I am still pissed at Founder for only selling 750ml bottles here for $26 while Canada got 12oz bottles at about $6 a bottle or $24ish a 4 pack. Such bullshit

The problem is it's at the Central Market way on the other side of Austin...I don't understand Founder's distribution at all. Some people near Michigan can't get KBS and it's ubiquitous elsewhere.

I instead got Sumatra Brown Ale and a growler of Big Lebarrelski, an imperial stout aged in Woodford barrels with coffee and lactose. Damn damn good stuff.

Sounds damn good.

Currently contemplating my next whisky purchase and sipping on some Old Forester 100. Not a bad whisky for under $20 but simple. This and Evan Williams White Label are my "cooking" whiskies. Time to pour something a touch nicer.

Any Modern Times IPA (City of the Sun is the current canned release but if you can get a growler of Night Tides that is damn good).
Also I really enjoy Societe's IPAs especially The Pupil but The Apprentice is also very good.

For Tequila I really enjoy the Milagro Select Barrel Reserve (not the standard Milagro).

Booker's Annis' Answer. A very nutty Bookers. Lots of roasted peanuts, hazelnuts, brazil nuts, etc. Also a touch of caramel, toffee and vanilla.

Fine but certainly not outstanding. I had to make a quick recipe using zest and vodka instead of my normal routine of sweating lemons above vodka for a month. Still haven't found anything that's too great, though it's certainly worth it if you have friends etc who love the stuff.

Blood oranges were on sale this week so I'm gonna make some arancello rosso soon, I'll let Y'all know how that turns out.

I also have 5 zested lemons with no plans for them. Suggestions other than a butt ton of hollandaise?

Kah. Really top notch tequila. All three offerings (blanco, resposado or anejo) are great. The blanco is the least smoky/oaky the resposado the most. Cheers.

Never had Milagro but I can enjoy Corzo, and that says a lot as I typically cannot sit and just drink tequila.
