Well, I had planned to mow the lawn and do a little yard work, but noticed a layer of cold white stuff on the ground when I grabbed the paper from the front porch this morning. Maybe I'll just organize my new closet, watch some football and drink beer.

I guess it's a good thing that the Twins are still playing indoor baseball. Wouldn't want to give those damn Yankees a cold reception.

I've become partial to semicolons after my operation. I also really like dashes ... Mrs., Mad, 50 Yard, a – of this and a – of that. That three dot thingy is a close third.

Etceteras are cool. Semi colons don't get the hole job done though. I can really get into a good colon. Wiithout a dash of period.

How big of you to mention that @*&!%! blown call. My Twinkies was robbed! And they were tired and sleepy, too.

I'm supposed to be a life long Yankees fan ... I was born in Manhattan and have a very vague memory of signing an agreement to that effect prenatally (in amniotic fluid) as a condition for being granted post natal status.

Then along came free agency. That and I've lived in MN for 30 years and only 6 in NY. My 20 years in FL don't count – they had no major league team at the time.

i went into work got a few things done to keep myself occupied. the bears had a bye week as well. i didn't watch a single college game....yeah i know, pathetic.
