That best running back thread got me thinking...So who is gonna be the best field general in '08? There are many to choose from. There are the big names like Tebow, Perrilloux, McCoy, and even JC for that matter. Many of you might disagree but I think Sam Bradford out of OU is going to be the best QB next season. I've seen him play a few times this season, but what he displayed against Mizzou the other day was simply amazing. To go and beat the #1 team in the country as a Frosh is unheard of. He showed some serious zip on the ball and had some very nice throws. He threw across the field numerous times and it was right on the money. He has a great feel for the position and great moxie 2 become a great QB. He can make all the throws and he is smart. Maybe its just me. Thoughts?

Tebow, but watch Clausen and Sanchez to surprise next year and be the leading candidates for the 2009-2010 heisman trophy.

Hey, if you included JC in there, you've got to include Mallett and Juice. I want to say Pat Devlin might turn some heads, but it's his first year starting. He's pretty good from what I saw. And don't forget about Boeckman. He's OSU's leader in career pass %. He's got a great touch on the deep ball. I'll go as far as to say that he'll be the 1st QB to be taken in the 2009 draft.

Couple of others, Mitch Mustain, Perilloux, Stafford and Wilson.

If you want to ask sure things, I'll say Chase Daniel, Tim Tebow, Todd Reesing, Sam Bradford (as long as he doesn't have a sophomore slump) and Pat White.

I forgot about Boekman is my origianal post considering the bucks havent played in like 3weeks. He will be in the top 4 QBs.

And just saying Mallet? he had a very mediocre completion rate (43% compared to Clausens 56% which should be about 60 if we had good reciever that didnt drop every pass) and some of those were lucky great catches by Arrington and Manningham. Clausen atleast showed improvement towards the end.

However Boekman will be good. I dont agree on Perilloux or Wilson. Stafford yes. Mustain i have mixed feelings about because he might not start

I don't know, Perilloux will either b a hit or miss next season but I think he definetly has the tools and talent around him 2 b a big-time QB. Mustain? Nope. Sanchez will start over him and will do some good things next season..

Nate Davis from Ball State wont get the attention these other guys will get but I think he will be a top QB next year and a possible first day pick(later in the day) in two years
