Wanted some opinions

I haven't been here long and was wondering what everyone thinks of the BCS. I personally love bowls and the BCS did exactly what we want it to do this year, have 1 and 2 play. All the complaining by coaches reminds me of exactly the same process for March Madness. I see the exact same problems with selecting who would make the playoffs. Both are flawed.

I really don't care if we have a playoff or the BCS, but those fighting for a playoff come off as if it is a perfect system and people are idiots for enjoying the BCS.

I'm not such a big fan, especially this year. Mainly, yea it put #1 and #2 together but I thought OSU deserved the shot.

If Bama beats LSU, how do they legitimately claim #1 when they are 1-1 against each other. LSU beat them in their own house.

The BCS will never be perfect, too many possibilities that can't be accounted for.

Some of the matchups this year were crazy. Va Tech? Geeez...

I definitely like bowl games mainly because I feel like it's fun for players. It's also a lot more safe than extending the season by adding a playoff.

I certainly do have my problems with the BCS though. I think Oklahoma State should have been in the title game. By sticking Bama in the title game, I feel like you're automatically naming LSU the National Champion. Even if Alabama wins, both teams are 1-1 against the other and LSU played the tougher and longer schedule.

I don't believe 1 and 2 are playing this year. Number 3 kills number 10 and doesn't jump 2 who already lost to 1. I love football and try to watch all bowls possible to get me over the off season but I refuse to watch this game and i hope I'm not the only one. BCS=bull crap system

P.s. The championship game was suppose to make a clear #1 by playing 1 vs 2. That won't happen this year no mater the outcome.

They got it right this year..i mean #2 has its only loss vs #1 and there wasnt another undefeated team so you cant get more right. Sure if bama wins lsu is kinda screwed but at the sametime its a national title game so if players arent up for that then they dont deserve to win.

I'd rather see a shorter season, say 10 games. Then invite top 25 to tournament. Top seven get byes in round one. Then 16 teams are left ... and four more wins to win it all.
