Gotta believe he chooses the Irish. All he needs to do is look at ND's secondary last year, and see the huge improvement this year. If he thinks he's gonna get better coaching at Michigan he's nuts.

He's coming to the ND-USC game, that will be his third appearance at a Notre Dame game.

I think we have any kind of game against USC he is ours. Espically if he is really telling the truth when he says his top 3 are ND Pitt and UM.

he chooses UM because of how our offense opened up a can on there secondary...(a good chance for him to step in) and because he grew up a UM fan much like how Paddy Mullen is Irish...

I am not saying he is a lock, buuuuttt, it wouldn't be a shocker if he still picks them over us

He has just as good a shot at stepping in and contributing at ND then UM. If he was a fan growing up, thats tough to break but we gotta chance.

I think his mind is made up already, just not sure which way. He top three are ND, Pitt and UM. Results on the field have been set. We'll see which way it goes from here.

How can you pass up the opportunity to play under Weis but more importantly for Walls is the opportunity to learn under Bill Lewis. Best in the Business.

Walls will choose ND

I'd be shocked at this point if he went to Pitt. After that loss to Ohio, how could any top recruit want to go there over the likes of ND and Michigan?

I really think ND gets him. Jackson is starting to lean this way, too.

But O-line is still an area of concern.

There were a bunch of top-notch recruits at the game who had to run on to the field after the very classy scUM fans were pelting them with water bottles. I personally would like to thank these fans for aiding in our recruiting efforts!!!! Thanks MORONS!!!! Just made Walls and Co.'s decision a little easier!!!!

He would have to be an idiot to choose Michigan. The education and the football should be enough reason to choose ND. If you choose any school but ND, you must be worried that you might not be able to keep up in the classroom.

I am confident Walls will choose ND. He will be their Ted Ginn....special teams, offense and defense.

Jackson I'm on the fence with, but playing for ND would have any WR NFL ready after 3-5 years.

To be honest, I'm not sure those guys would really care about it one way or the other. Most 17-18 year olds probably thought it was funny.

Still, it was pretty stupid. Reminds me of Cub fans at Wrigley. UM and Cubs are one in the same.

Thanks Rip Rap! That is the picture that my brother e-mailed me. These recruits weren't picking up, they were dodging!!

Is the scUM/ Suckeye game in Columbus or Ann Arbor this year? I'm sure that there will be quite a few top recruits there! If these kids were throwing sh#t on the field during this game, wait til they meet up with the Suckeyes! These recruits will get more than a Michigan jersey, I'm sure they will all receive an umbrella, helmet, shield, tear gas, Louisville Slugger, 12 gauge, body armour, etc... Thanks again loyal and classy fans of Missagain!

Go Irish!!!!

Trust me, there are bigger issues for them NOT to choose Michigan.

1. They won't graduate

2. They'll lose three games a year and play in the Citrus Bowl.

3. Lloyd Carr

I checked around to see who was at this game and if any comments were made about the debris as it pertained to the recruits on O.V. No mention of it. Are we positive that the recruits were picking up garbage off the field? This sounds really hard for me to believe. Not even UM is that stupid.

They were recruits! The Juwan Howard thing was a joke!!!!!!!
Who would waste film taking a picture of Juwan Howard and his degenerate friends at a ND/Michigan game?

They are looking at videotape and will prosecute those that were throwing debris. A newspaper photographer was hit in the head wth a bottle and was bledding so bad he had to be taken to the hospital. The UM A.D. said student season ticket holders found guilty will lose their tickets.

per today's Chicago Sun Times.

Darrin Walls came away VERY impressed by his visit to Florida this past weekend. He said his last scheduled visit is October 15th for the USC game. He did say he might decide before then.

That leads me to one of two thoughts: he already knows where he's going and he's taking these visits to have a good time. Two, if he decides before he goes on an ND visit is that because he's going there or he isn't?

If I had to guess right now, I'd guess he's going to Florida. Something doesn't sound right with this guy. Both of Florida's corners will be gone next year, so he can play early there, too.

As the Walls Turns....

Okay, Jason Sapp is reporting that according to conversations Walls had with the Pitt staff, there is no chance he'll go down to Florida because it is too far from home.

That said, he wants to go to a school that is on TV a lot so his family can watch if they can't make the drive. He also wants to play right away.

Based on these factors, the choice is clear Darrin!!

I've heard Weis mention to Walls that he could see time on offense and special teams.

That is brillaint that Weis would mention to Walls the opportunity to play on offense, A weapon like him should be employed in all situations.

"They" isn't Campus Security, it's the Offensive Coordinator, the QB Coach, and Carr. They want the kid that hit the field with more success than Henne - to try out for QB.
