Biggest commit in years. We now have the number 1 corner in the country and we also have Raeshon McNeil whom Bill Lewis said is the best cover corner in the country. Weis already has his offense clicking, now we just need to fix up that D.

What a difference a year makes!

Walls was a must. Now on to a linebacker and a couple of OL and DT. Come on USC!

"All the schools talked about possibly playing slot receiver on offense once I learn the defense," he said. "I'd love to play both ways if I can."

He plays running back now. He is FAST. His open field moves are pretty slick too.

This is huge. He's enrolling in January if I'm not mistaken.

Walls is overrated. McNeil is a much better player. We should not have wasted a scholarship on this clown. We could have gotten Jeff Lambert, but with Walls it looks like Jeff Lambert will go to Miami (FL).

Just kidding I just wanted to stir the pot. But I definately think Walls is already better than Richardson.

Interestingly, Scout has Walls listed as the no. 7 CB in the country but he is taller and faster than anyone ahead of him by their numbers. He also carries a good GPA so he's probably a pretty bright kid. Also, the Scout/Rivals wide difference in opinion over McNeil is startling. One has him as a top ten CB and the other doesn't have him rated. The fact that both of them are over 6-0 and have 40 times in the 4.4's is nice to fall back on when you're relying solely on other people's opinions.

What does the LB depth chart look like for next season?

Word is it will be Walls and Aldridge as the first two early enrollment guinea pigs at ND.

He'll be the Charles Woodson/Chris Gamble/Teddy Ginn of Notre Dame.

I can't wait.

Rivals has him as the #1 CB, and McNeil at #13. A pair of 6 foot corners with 4.4 speed. This is awesome news, I don't think I could be more excited at the direction Charlie has this program headed.

Do they both start next year?

I think Walls and Wooden will. McNeil will see nickel time, I can assure you. Guess it all depends how they pick things up. I think Walls will be all over the field.
