I smoked my share of ditch weed back in the day. Hours of social tokin' was a good thing. When I started "going catatonic" or falling asleep early in the evening, I called it quits ... for the most part.

Some 15 years ago I reconnected with an ND classmate in upstate NY. He is/was a prof at a SUNY locale. I think that he's emeritus now. He was holding his annual "Full Moon in July" celebration. I hadn't seen him in close to 25 years, so when he offered a hit of home grown I took three. This was a rural setting and there was a claw footed bath tub in the yard filled with beer.

At a certain point I tried, three or four times, to climb the three steps to get into the house. No go. I wandered into the neighboring corn field to answer nature's call. Clearly science and hybrids had left me in the dust.

I'm just glad that he and his lady had taken up roasting, grinding and brewing their own (fair trade) coffee. Things were a bit foggy in the morning.

eat a mango 60minutes prior to smoking to enhance and lengthen your high....scientific data proves it does benefit...im at work and don't want to google the info...but lets just say it WORKS!!!

Haha, the gas mask will send you to a whole 'nother world. Throw an oil rig or concentrate setup on one of those to alleviate the burning in the eyes, and you have about the most powerful stone ever.

I just like messing with people...

But once again Discovery channel is running another series about marijuana called "Pot Cops". I haven't watched it so can't say how much much is real and how much is "reality tv".

Don't know nuthin' 'bout no gas masks. The most exotic we ever got was filling a bong with Boon's Farm Strawberry Hill.

We did play a game we called "take X, hold Y." The rules were simple: take X number of deep tokes rapidly (say 5) and hold your breath for as long as you can on Y (in this case 6). It soon got competitive.

One guy (NOT me) decided to go for a personal best one night with a take 10, hold 11. What he managed to do was burn through an entire joint, hyperventilate, pass out and hit the floor head first. Scared the bejeebers out of us – though he was pretty damn proud of himself.

We didn't play that game anymore.

A trippy idea or fiscal genius? Two pols idea to smoke away the deficit

With people like this representing our country it's only a matter of time. If the government wasn't too busy making sure all of us were busting our *** to survive and keep food on the table I'm sure we'd already have masses pushing for this to happen. At least that's the case for me. The funny thing is these Representatives are stating what most of us have thought all along.
