something i have been thinking about. with the new transfer rules - doesnt it behoove us to get the absolute max amount of kids on campus through their HS years.

maybe we dont offer, maybe we do and dont prioritize, maybe they pick another school - regardless get them on campus and familiar with ND.

Then when it comes transfer time for these kids, we have an existing relationship, or at a minimum they have been on campus and have some sort of "comfort level" with ND.

If you are going to play "D1" football and are in a 5/6 hour drive you have better been at least invited to a camp or summer recruiting event, regardless of position, current academic standing, etc.

There may be a day that kid is a difference maker ND needs and is available.

When this came up awhile back I thought we’d see a little more. If I’m being honest, a little underwhelming.

To the above point, not a single ‘23 or ‘24 QB. Not one. One ‘23 WR.

Though I like some of these guys, no doubt about that. I think Houstan, Absher, Feagin, and Hanafin could all be players. And, Gray is an important part of the potential DB class.

I’d expect between the weather and staff finalization, the Spring game will be bigger than normal. I can see a larger effort put forth to making that a bigger event given Freeman’s “debut” not debut. Maybe all these alumni follow through with a visit to see MF.
