I'm getting bored with making wallpapers and sigs, so I figured I'd try my hand at making ND football videos. What video editing software is recommended? I'm extremely new at this, so I need something that's easy to use.

- Windows Movie Maker (Very Basic) - Should automatically be a part of Windows 7.

- Adobe Premiere (Beginner) A solid and cheap program that has more to offer than WMM.

- Final Cut Pro - This is the program I use on my Mac. There are many versions of it from beginner to advanced but it is outstanding in terms of what you can accomplish.

See latest video I did for ND & Turning Point with said program.

I tried WMM, but it won't open MP4 files. I don't have access to a Mac, so I guess I'll try out Adobe Premier.

Thanks for the help.

No problem.. Also, I'm not sure what file format WMM works with (I'm guessing .mov) but you can just download a free program called MPEGstreamclip and convert video files to nearly any format.. and that is really easy to use as well.

I think I've settled on Cyberlink Power Director. It's pretty simple to use and has some great transition effects. I've got a new respect for the people who make the videos. It's a lot of tedious work. I'm somewhat of a perfectionist, so that makes it all the more tedious.

Thanks for the suggestions, guys.

OK.

I didn't want to start a new thread with this.

This is my first attempt with making a highlight video. I know I need some more work, but I think it turned out pretty good.

I'd love to give you a critique, advice and encouragement, but wherever you uploaded the video, it's "private."
