Watching the SC Stanford game, and Stanford looks damn good! They scare the shit out of actually. Damn they have a great offense, and Gerhart is a beast in every sense of the word.

What I really loved right now was that Gerhart scored an obvious TD, but the ref somehow marked him down at the one. Harballs didn't even challenge it, he just lined up in a jumbo package, and Gerhart scored standing up LOL. Embarrassing for SC, the fact that Stanford wasn't even sweating the fact that they got robbed of a TD. Love it.

And Barkley is doing what we expected him to do against our defense, turning the ball over like he always does. A fumble and a pick. That's 8 picks already for him, and yet SC fans still hammer JC on his 6 INT freshman year behind the crappiest O-Line in ND history and with no wideouts and no running game. Go Stanford...

And here comes the Stanford 2nd half meltdown that has happened so often this year. Gerhart a weak fumble, Barkley up top one play later for 6. 21-14...

Barkley 9 INTs this year, Clausen 6 his freshman year, with not nearly the weapons, the o-line, the running game, the special teams, the 'coach', etc etc etc. Suck it SC!!!

i got to watch some of stanfords last game and was impressed. they are continuing to impress me. they do some things that i have been preaching about. they are tough and disciplined..... amazing how that works isnt it?

this team really plays tough they hunker down and say we are going to run the ball on you and there isnt shit you can do about it. which was proven with the lack of a review on that td...

i will say judging from a small sampling i like what harbaugh has done the last few years in stanford as far as attitude and toughness.

i cant stand this announcer but loved what he just said about how he went and saw them practice and said wow i cant believe they are running these kind of drills i havent seen these drills since pop warner.... they cant do that in major college football people will get hurt.....

but he had to change the situation and get back to basics

or something along those lines i absolutely love that kind of stuff, that is the kind of stuff that makes things different. stanford appears to have come around as a program the past couple years and harbaugh has them in a position to be a big pain in the ass for years to come.

48-21, ans Stanford goes for a 2 point conversion?!?!?!?! That will not sit well with the SC faithful. Wow. Harballs going for the humiliation of Southern Cal. Although, the way SC assembles talent, I'm not sure that's the tact I would take if I were Harballs. This will give them even more ammo to kick Stanford's tail next year.

Another thing...SC's announcer keeps on saying how young SC is. Ummm, not their secondary, not their O-Line, not their skill players. They lose their TE for sure, and probably D Williams and maybe even J McKnight.

Oh, and another INT for Barkley, making 10 for the year. LOL!!!

After the game, as Harballs was walking toward Pete Carroll, talking about the USC players, with a disgusted look on his face: "Look at 'em all running in. Look at them running in." Once the boom mike caught that, they took the camera off him. Damn. He was basically saying the SC players were sore losers and had no class (which is what we've been saying for years).

Then, when he shook hands with Carroll, Petey asked him, "How you doing? You alright?" He did not look happy.

Harballs: "Yeah, I'm good."

Carroll: "Nice game." Then Carroll stared at him and Petey sort of walked him off the field, as he kept on talking to him while the boom mic was turned off (Damn!). The presumption is that when they had their backs to the cameras as they walked off the field, Petey told him what he felt about the 2 point conversion attempt.

This will be talked about A LOT this week. Hopefully we can get a damn win over Pitt and make this an absolutely fantastic day!!!
