Not sure I agree. According to NCAA.com stats, through last Saturday's games Florida's defense ranked as follows:

3rd down convesion percentage defense - 7th
Opponents first downs per game - 24th
Kickoff return yardage - 22nd
Passing defense - 17th
Red zone defense - 17th
Rushing defense - 10th
Scoring defense - 4th
Sacks - 42nd
TFLs - 41st
Turnovers gained - 14th

Seems like fuzzy math is needed to have all that up to #1 defense
