Been to Paris a few times and it doesn't shock me that they made the list. In Moscow, the people I met were more drunk and depressed rather than simply unfriendly. Frankfurt is surprising. Most there seemed very friendly, especially after a few beers and a brat. Nassau seemed ok as well... as long as you bought some cheap five dollar authentic yada yada... or if you bought a little smoke. Then they were your best friend.

Going through de Gaulle for the first time was probably the worst experience in my life.

I love Paris, but it definitely belongs on the list. Surprisingly, the most unfriendly place I've been to in France is Normandy. I was shocked at how rude some of the locals were.

I don't remember going through de Gaulle, but I do remember smoking a cigarette outside of baggage claim with some people and understanding the French woman more than the guy from Georgia. I couldn't understand a damn thing coming out of his mouth. It was my first time outside of the US and I've never been more embarrassed to be American than listening to this guy talk.

I've been in some unfriendly places overseas, but France is easily the ultimate douche bag capital of the universe.

Actually, when I travel through La I have a very difficult time understanding them. Nice people I guess... don't really know as I have no clue what they are saying.

Yea, I have a lot of friends and family in Georgia and have been there a few times and I don't recall having much trouble understanding them. This guy must have been from the Alabama/Georgia line.

Alabamlish is easy to understand. Take your front set of teeth out and end every word with a vowel.

Speaking of Atlanta, I flew back in from South Korea a few weeks ago and the first person we encounter is a TSA agent. He was the rudest person I have ever met at any airport. So rude, in fact, that I looked at him and said "that's a fine way to welcome foreigners into America." It was a major embarrasment.

I go through ATL all the time. Normally a pretty good experience. I would say it's pretty damn good for the size and volume. Some of the young guys take their jobs way too seriously though. Pretty friendly otherwise. I love Indy's new airport. Nicest... I'd have to say Vienna.

Would agree about ATL. Pretty good overall and that's really the only negative I have encountered there as that is typically where I fly out of most trips. Haven't been through the Vienna airport. I survived LaGuardia a few times so I guess any US airport would be a step up from that.
