Kind of an interesting thing they did..

2014 Ultimate ESPN 300 - ESPN

For the Ultimate ESPN 300 ranking, we incorporated both the prospect's grade and projection out of high school with his actual college impact and production. In the interest of objectivity, we also included prospects that were not included in our rankings. However, we did not include players we did not evaluate in high school, so there are notable names left off this list, like Michael Crabtree.

It should be noted that we did not include the 2014 class in this edition, and for the 2013 class, we incorporated freshman prospects that we felt had significant roles and their placement was based on forecasting similar production over the next three years. All prospects are listed at the position they were projected to play at out of high school and the original school they signed with.

LOL Eddie V and Shaq Evans are on the list as ND guys.

It is kind of cool seeing some of these players.

Folston at 254 and ahead of Tuitt. Dang. This list is a little weird, though, because some of the Freshmen and Sophomores on it are still being put on there on based off of projection while other guys are on there based off of production. Still pretty fun though

Pretty solid list of players who were NR out of high school. Guess it goes to show us that there are impact players out there every year that somehow get overlooked.

Crazy how ESPN was really the only ones who pegged Tate as a 5 star. Rivals and Scout had him as a low 4 star.

They listed Jaylon Smith as OL.....

Also McCoy broke his ankle his senior year. He also had some academic issues, so he went to a Prep School for a year in New York.
