The correlation is certainly there, but here in ND, the big earners are farmers and doctors. Many farmers have degrees, but didn't need it for the job. The doctors obviously go through a ton of schooling.

I guess my position is I don't view education as some sorta certificate indicating intelligence. I have a "doctor" degree. I don't think I'm particularly bright. My buddy is a Mayo anesthesia doc who is a savant at math and science and super MAGA. He'd be the first to tell you he's an idiot.

None of this is contradicting your statements really, I just don't put a ton of weight behind education. The people who do, from my experience, are objectively dumb people. (Not accusing you of doing that, again)

Well yeah on an individual basis it doesn't really matter what education level someone may have in reference to their "intelligence" but on an aggregate basis the more education you have the smarter that segment is.

Honestly, I think we tend to underrate ourselves in comparison to the general person. Literally just showing up and getting a general arts degree from some mid level university would put you above average.

My entire point was that based on the exit polls/data - more uneducated and lower income people voted for Trump. Thus him lowering the price of prescription medication is going to help his base.

Drayer (conservative) reacted negatively to price controls, as would be expected from a conservative, Leppy (falls into the Trump base classification) is arguing with me on anecdotal vibez and feels because he knows a guy who knows a guy.

Okay, I'm following. If we are saying "above average" then we are probably on the same page. Education captures *some* of that. Probably even most of it.

I got friends and family who failed out of basic bitch state school who bring in high six figures (good farmers make very good money).

I think my main issue is the term "uneducated" maybe. I'd just call them high school types but the term is irrelevant so long as we are talking about the same crowd.

Im against price controls. Medicine is maybe the one area I think there it is justifiable but I don't like it there either. Plenty of room for improvement in our system. I think all the people pretending its easy are likely room temp IQ types.

I think there should be price controls in aspects of life that are fundamental to living - food/shelter/medicine. Otherwise, I'm pretty YOLO to the rest of it.

Obama's statement about a third term smells like a generic statement anyone would make. That is indeed how anyone might pursue a third term. The problem is like in the New Pope, the figurehead quickly realizes they are the boss.

The Biden family is very problematic. I could be bought into theories on them much easier than Obama (dude hit a jackpot).

Not even trying to be a dick, but can you think of any actual aspects where rent/price controls have actually been beneficial to the population on whom they were implemented? I’m sure there are some limited good examples, but strict controls have caused mass food shortages, insane wait lists for rental properties/dilapidation of rent controlled units, and huge medicine shortages in Venezuela

I mean I would say they are an ally for sure… we classified them as a MNNA under Biden. But the Qatari government, or at least influential people within it, directly counter our Middle Eastern strategy by aiding and abetting Iranian backed terror groups in the region. They’re certainly a cut behind Saudi Arabia and the UAE

Qatar Is and has been an Allie since at least 2018. Maybe not Japan, yet. We'll see.

Yes. We are an ally to Qatar now, and ever since Trump's first term. Qatar has very good plane making skills, from the UAE. That's what started all of this. We suck at making planes, and navigating them since the DEI project failure.
Also, a new hanger for a new Air Force One was built during the 1st Trump admin. 2018-2021. The hanger has been waiting for a leader to have a plane worthy of it. Trump.

The plane that Qatar is giving to the US was built in Everett, Washington by Boeing
