Funny story about this. When my oldest daughter was 6, she wanted to stay up late one night to watch a movie with her mom, who told her no, that it had some inappropriate stuff for someone her age. She asked if was about sex and my wife asked her what she knew about that. My daughter then said she knew all about it. Turned out she'd spent the night with a friend and after the parents went to sleep, the two little kids had sneaked downstairs to watch Cinemax and, as my daughter put it, "They were DOING it!" Oh boy. We had to have The Talk with her at 6. She was sort of disgusted by the whole idea and later told me, "You must have REALLY wanted kids to do that.'

Several months later, same daughter saw a large book on my desk at home titled 'The Couples Guide To Better Sex" or something like that - strictly Barnes & Noble, non-porn type of book. She was a bit shocked and asked me why I had a book on sex. I sort of sputtered and stalled and finally said, 'Well Hon, everybody can learn new stuff." She immediately replied, "Dad, you've got three kids. Don't you already know"

To date there isn't anything that can be directly contributed toward this, but unfortunately, there is no real way of knowing like deaths that are attributed to whales caught in fishing nets or being struck by a boat.
