Traveling

As an occasional business traveler, I like to check out the local sights and sounds of the cities I go to. This is a thread to share where you may be traveling to and gain suggestions from the IE locals who can offer advice on what to see/do.

I am going to be in Memphis, TN next week for a day, so I am interested in suggestions on good places to eat/bars. I am already planning on hitting up Rendezvous for some BBQ (and as a fan of Man V Food, which was a stop for the Memphis show) and maybe take a stroll down Beale St. Since I only have one day, I need to make it good, so any suggestions would be much appreciated.

Put your walking shoes on and enjoy the city. Lots to see and do. Most of the museums are free so worth checking out if you’re there for that long.
