Nic Scourton (standout Purdue DL) to Texas A&M. Not awesome for week 1.
Reminder they still have four-5-star DL on the team from the 2021 haul.
Another 1,000 yard WR? Yes please.ND is reportedly in the mix here.
Mike Brown’s Alma MaterND is reportedly in the mix here.
PleaseNolan Rucci in. I bet this is who II was hinting at on the pod
Does that work with ND's freshman/GT quasi-requirements?Nolan Rucci in. I bet this is who II was hinting at on the pod
Joe Rudolph was there too to recruit himMike Brown’s Alma Mater
Everytime one of these behind the scenes recruitments that the beat was been aware of the entire times pops up, it usually works out well for the Irish.Nolan Rucci in. I bet this is who II was hinting at on the pod
Cool I was hoping we would go after him.Nolan Rucci in. I bet this is who II was hinting at on the pod
Agreed. Didn't see that coming but a welcome surprise.Compare and contrast to Dante...

Not as much in this case because the guy they'd be bringing in would have multiple years of eligibility.Any one worried about Wagner leaving if we take a tackle in the portal?
Nope. Cream rises to the top. Do what must be done to enhance the rosterAny one worried about Wagner leaving if we take a tackle in the portal?
Wagner could always compete for RT... alot of people think Jagusah would be best at guard anyways.Any one worried about Wagner leaving if we take a tackle in the portal?
What was the chatter about?Nolan Rucci in. I bet this is who II was hinting at on the pod
This NC OT has gotten a lot of kudos and had Duke and VA offers, but not the relationship & history w/ Rudolph that Rucci likely has. Diego Pounds

News out of Chapel Hill came out Thursday, as UNC’s starting left tackle Diego Pounds has officially entered the transfer portal, with sources saying Ole Miss is the most likely destination for the Raleigh native, if he is to leave.
He would not be the first player to go into the portal for UNC, but this does mark a drastic difference where Carolina would lose a major contributor and someone that they were counting on to be a foundational piece for some time along their offensive line. The sophomore played the seventh most snaps this season on the Tar Heel offense, starting the final eight games, and posted a solid grade of 74.0 according to Pro Football Focus, in pass protection, protecting Drake Maye’s blindside.
From what I understand talking to people close to the situation, UNC was caught off guard by this ultimate decision. Pounds came to Carolina and informed them of offers he was receiving, hinting at an exit, but Carolina showed a willingness to match said offers to keep its homegrown talent, and word got back to the Lane Kiffins of college football to increase any offer to the point where Pounds didn’t even come back to the Carolina coaching staff with a final number. UNC hasn't given up in its pursuit in trying to sway Pounds back, however the consensus seems to be he was already out the door.
Given that OSU went after Leonard first and he wasn't interested, Howard was plan B for them, too. Possibly lower, depending on how one views their pursuit of Cam Ward.I'm sure Ohio St people will never accept the fact that he was our second fiddle
Oh wow, thanks for posting - So a bidding war and likely unattainable for ND.![]()
