Linebacker Toryan Smith (6-1, 235, 4.7) from Rome, Ga., has taken his second official visit and narrowed down his list to only four top choices.
"I like Florida, Notre Dame, Alabama and Michigan," said Smith, of Rome High School. "All are about equal." The final four have all offered.
Smith's most recent official visit was to Notre Dame last weekend (Oct. 15) where he witnessed the incredible USC contest.
"I had a good time. It was a great game," he said. "They moved up (on his favorite's list) -- I'm interested.
"Darius Walker (running back) was my host. We did what you usually do on a visit. He showed me around; I met with the coaches. All the usual stuff. I had a good time."
Smith declined to answer any other questions about his trip to South Bend.
Smith also has visits set up with Michigan on Nov. 19 and Florida on Nov. 25.
"I don't know about a fifth official. I may not even take one," he said.
Smith reports 78 tackles, four sacks and three interceptions in eight games. Rome (7-1) travels to Gordon Central (Calhoun) on Oct. 21 for a crucial game. 3.1 GPA/19 ACT/1200 SAT
