But unfortunately, for him that is, he wasn't single and he got caught. He's a dirtball.
The worst part is, some of those tin cans he was dartboarding are absolutely putrid.... Elin, while not fantastic, is pretty dang nice. Why do it???

Uh....YES. It is not a double-standard when someone like Tiger has claimed for YEARS that family came first, when actually, it was always about him, and it always will be. I hope that Elin leaves him and soon....so that Tiger can get back to his whoring ways because Tiger set himself up as some sort of role model to millions of people around the world and yet he was nothing more than another self-involved jerk.
The double-standard only applies if you think about the fact that Kobe is still the butt of jokes on the internet, and people say NOTHING about it. And mock him for giving a PRESS CONFERENCE where he admitted to his adultery to the cameras....but Tiger goes and hides. And yet Kobe is the one that gets raked across the coals for years but Tiger is commended for "taking a break".
THAT is the double standard.
STOP DEFENDING HIM. It is Tiger's fault and nobody else's. Certainly not his wife's. She deserves a helluva lot better than Tiger, that is for sure.
Apparently that is all you can do, since defending him, which IS what you have been doing, does not make any sense.
SOMEONE LOCK THIS STUPID IGNORANT THREAD, PLEASE!! It has NOT A THING to do with ND and therefore needs to be removed as this is just a pointless discussion. Tiger is/was/always will be a tremendous jerk. I am just glad that people can finally see it. I just wish people would stop defending hmi beacuse it is laughable and disgusting all at once.

I lol'd because I never defended him, nor did anyone in this thread. I merely said my opinion that taking a break from golf was good idea. Please quote where I defended his actions in sleeping with a bunch of tramps thus cheating on his wife.
I lol'd because the reference to the double standard had nothing to do with this. Was in reference to another discussion I'd had with the person I quoted in that post.
Lastly I lol'd because I didn't want to argue about it anymore. Clearly my opinion was in the minority & I was getting piled on. As I stated before I'm not here to ruffle feathers but obviously I've developed a knack for that over the past week. Just wanted to let it go & move on. End of the day I really give a shit less about Tiger Woods. His life has absolutely no effect on my life & a stupid thing to argue about on the internet. I enjoy a friendly debate but felt this was going beyond that. Part of that was my doing.
I will say I appreciated NDinL.A.'s post. That I didn't lol at.

The scary thing about this is that people in China, where I live now, actually knew more about Tiger's situation than I did.
In any event, I think that this thread ishould be dead, now.
So my apologies, but just realize that no matter what you say on the Internet, without context and being able to see and actually hear what others have to say, your intentions can get twisted a lot, which I think is what happened.

Philanderers have only themselves to blame, not anyone else. So it is good to see Tiger take some time off, or whatever, but don't expect any public mea culpas EVER from this man because he will never ever do it. I have more respect for a man like Kobe Bryant who manned up, went on public TV and admitted his adultery and now you never hear about him cheating on Vanaessa anymore. Should Tiger ever do the same and come out PUBLICLY with Elin by his side, then I might believe for a second that he is putting family first now. But when his Mistress total balloons from 11 to 15 in two days--which is highly unlikely, but still shocking--then I get the feeling that Tiger never has been much of a father, ever....which is too bad, because if you truly believe that he loved his father, he would be a better role model for others.

My point was & will remain ... Taking a break from golf in attempt to repair the damages he has caused is the best thing he can do regardless of anybody's opinion of what he's done. I take no regret in saying that. It s a very simple statement not clouded in personal opinions of what he's done.
