This Senior Class a Failure???

Understanding full well what this class has done for ND and how it will most likely be remembered no matter what happens the last two games; Living in the L.A. area, if this class goes 0-4 against the Trojans it will be hard for me not to look at them as a failure to some degree... Is this just my Trojan hater blood boiling over? Or does anyone else feel this way...?

Well, it's hard to be that blunt.. but for a senior class as highly rated as this one to never beat 'SC.... definitely leads me to think that the answer is "yes".

But, there is a little more to this. One class can't be expected to do all the work, you at least need a strong junior class. We don't have that - other teams do.

It's not their fault they were stuck with Ty for 2 years.

If they'd had Charlie for 4 full years, they'd have gotten a win(s) against USC.

I don't feel that way and have no idea how any ND fan could possibly view these kids as failures in any way shape or form. They brought this program back from the dead. They've gone 19-4 in the last 23 games. 2 of those losses were against teams that will have played for the National Championship and 1 other who might this year.

Anything less than a fans utmost respect and gratitude is unacceptable.

Yes but the fact is they've played, as upperclassmen, 3 teams that finished/will have finished in the top 10- and are 0-3.

1-3 still isn't great, but it looks a hell of a lot better than 0-4.

Then again if we beat SC maybe they fall out of the top 10.
