Kind of off topic but not really... when does the rest of the new Adidas ND football apparel line(t-shirts, jackets, hats etc...) usually come out?!

I was in the bookstore yesterday and it looks like the "original" 1991 shirt. I am really impressed that the ND students embraced their past from the design and color. Its going to look bad *** in the student section in the fall.

Just saw it in the video of the unveiling... looks way better when being worn. Still partial to green, but its a very nice job.

At first I wasn't a huge fan of the color choice, but then remembering (and seeing) that it is the same blue that is under the Golden Dome and in the Basilica I'm all for it.

It will look good in the student section and I plan on ordering it.

I get stuff from football fanatics site delivered to Donegal, they charge $19..95 delivery and if you order more than one item the rest ship free and all come in the same package. Can take a couple of weeks to get here, but is well packaged etc....

Some sites are reasonable with postage others aren't. Have no idea what these are like. Hope they aren't like nfl shop as they tend to charge as much as your buying

It doesn't look at all like pictured on line. I bought extras, and brought 'em home and gave 'em out, and everyone thought they looked sharp. I think the blue of the shirt doesn't have the green content it appears to online. My kids were funny when they wore them; they would run up behind each other, smack each other on the back and start singing the fight song! Conspiracy to bring back tradition among fans? I wonder . . .

The unveiling ceremony was awesome! It's the first unveiling I've been to, usually we send my grandpa to the bookstore with a fistful of cash and a list of sizes. I got some fuzzy pics with my cell phone :-/ but as far as the black and white jerseys...a family was standing around trying to snap up the jerseys, and the dad said you might as well wait because I heard Addidas is making an "away" jersey that is black and white. So me being me, I asked him whatchoo talkin bout? He said yeah, and a bookstore employee said they heard whisperings of it too. Why black? I dunno. I hope it's a vicious rumor and those people were just high on glue. Black is not an Irish color, and I can't dig it.

With the black shoes and socks...this entire uniform looks black.

Even with Navy blue, we need some gold or green or something on the jerseys. Sometimes I can't stand the way ND is so conservative. WAKE UP THE ECHOES!!! Have addidas make em some fancy green and gold shoes, I don't know, but I am tired of seeing a little itty bitty ND on the jerseys. I'd like to see something pop and say "WE ARE ND" ya know? Because the Irish only do two things, kick butt and chew bubble gum, and this season they are fresh out of bubble gum. heh hehe

Agreed Rocket, I'm not even color blind, and I can hardly see the difference between dark navy and black.

Rocket89, Navy blue is navy blue. Black is black. The new crap you just posted is just artistic license...I guess. Silly artists. Some truly believe that gold is yellow. I had some trouble with some athletic salesman and artists who insisted yellow is gold. They lost much money when I rejected their design that painted us yellow and royal blue. They had printed thousands of bucks of uniforms that was meant for our athletes and anyone who would follow up and buy the design. I had asked for gold (resembles kinda sorta Brass...and navy).

They lost thousands.

The two Florida Gators standing next to each other have what I would consider a royal blue jersey.

Penn State's Ted Kwalick is sitting right next to our own George Kunz on the bottom right. That Penn State jersey if it was just a little darker is what I think of with navy blue.

As you can see, we wear one dark *** navy blue jersey.
