... is going to be unveiled Friday at 6:00pm. Can one of you on-campus folks make sure to get us the details once things go down? Or does anyone have an inside scoop?

Yep - it's pretty cool. Nothing like a puke green overhead shot of the student section.

Sorry, I was AT the unveiling. :)

Did they have a 30-foot high model shirt that they uncovered? I wouldn't have wanted to be there unless it was at least 30 feet high. Or, did they have some beautiful models (male of course) modeling it on a catwalk?

I'm too sexy for The Shirt....

personally, I thought the whole unveiling was a little overrated. and a little long with all the buildup. but I guess it works.

as for the shirt, it's pretty nice. I like the color although I still personally think kelly green is a better effect in the stands. the saying is a little corny, but oh well. the design is nice.

Agreed about the saying. I think the front of the shirt looks extremely sharp. The back a little less than.

It was actually a little overrated as tgolden pointed out. They did have a model of the shirt that they uncovered, or at least, attempted to uncover. For goodness sakes you think a Notre Dame education might help you be able to untie a few knots and pull a curtain down, but alas, they seemed to have a rather difficult time figuring out why their curtain kept going round and round the model. We also had models modeling the shirts on a catwalk that was far out of view for anyone standing in front of the large model shirt.

Also, campus wide, it seems everyone wanted a brighter color for a stronger effect in the student section at games, and while everyone loves the front, the back seems suspect to many.

I like the shirt, and it symbolizes all of the tradition of Notre Dame! It represents the storied program in football.

Great shirt, very simple and to the point......It's Notre Dame....you either get it or you don't..... Wen't to the game got about 25 shirts and sold them all (no-profit) in the Pentagon with 5 minutes !!!!

I don't mind the front.....it's the back that I don't really like....it's a bit busy with all the photos inside the interlocking ND.
