Dude, seriously, screw you. You are not the be-all and end-all of college football either. If you were, YOU would be the next head coach at Notre Dame. I'm well aware of the difference between FBS, FCS, and D2. I just disagree with you on the varying levels of importance of coaching experiences at each. Again, I never said Notre Dame should hire a D2 head coach with no D1 experience over a prominent D1 coordinator. You keep saying I said that. I never have. All I said was the experience at D2 counts to me, and when combined with successful experience as a D1 head coach at 2 different places, it vastly outweighs D1 experience as an assistant coach alone, with no head coaching experience. You don't have to agree. I don't really care. But your friggin dick attitude toward everyone who doesn't agree with every word you say makes you sound more arrogant that Weis in his first year. We're all just trying to have a fun discussion here about who should be the next head coach. Obviously we're going to have differing opinions, the fact that it hasn't turned into a complete circle-jerk to one candidate is what makes it interesting. But that doesn't mean we have to jump down each other's friggin throats. For Christ's sakes, we're all Irish fans, aren't we? We all have 2 things in common: #1. We all want the program to succeed. and #2. There is absolutely nothing any of us can say on this message board that can advance or hinder #1. They're going to hire the next coach completely regardless of who we all think that guy should be. So grow up & calm the fuck down.
