It’s time for you to own the results of one last bet you made this season and remove yourself from this board. Good riddance
Got one more game and I’ll be gone, bets a bet.
If we make the playoffs I’ll make my weekly posting of my bet which has led to wins every time I have done it but I won’t take part in discussion I’m a man of my word. Been real IE. Love thee Notre Dame ✌️

As much as I would like to hold you to this on principle, were all fans of ND here and I do not expect, nor want you to leave. Maybe just temper some of the emotional/overboard takes?

I wanted to revisit now that the emotion of the moment is long past and we are all happy with how the season unfolded from that point on.
Like looking back at some of the comments made in the thread, how does anybody even engage in meaningful discourse with them.
Know what I mean?

Cheers and Go Irish.

I mean truth be told since the boards kept glitching out and not working for me through most of the 2023 & 2024 seasons I did think that maybe leaving would help us reach another national title game in 2026 so I was fine with the terms of the wager 😂.This is the only place sometimes where I can just vent ya know. It’s been my only real place I have been able to since I came here in 09. Most of my vents and freakouts are just to get shit off my chest (therapy has taught me not to leave it bottled up even for something as inconsequential as this). Can’t be that way in real life so this is my venting forum.

I understand that it can rub fans the wrong way but can’t really express this in real life so I vent it here. Maybe it is for the best that I don’t post here as often. In 2023 & 2024 (outside of NIU, OSU, Louisville, & Clemson) things were hunky dory but the boards worked again for me after I saw Coach Freeman at the Royal Rumble & thought it was cool to share. I’m all about the mojo to keep the team’s winning ways afoot so if posting less (or not at all) means we win a nattie LFG!!!! ☘️

Threw the Peacock replay today while doing chores. This game was truly one they let slip through their hands.

Just 2 plays into the second quarter at 17-7 and man, did ND come out with an excellent game plan. Just missed opportunities.

On the first drive that ends with a punt, a shoestring tackle keeps Love from breaking off a 59 yard touchdown run.

Coulda been 24-7 4 seconds into the 2nd quarter and then you have A&M chasing 17 instead of 10 at multiple points throughout the game.

Then we have A&M’s only points in the 1st quarter being Craver’s 86 yard touchdown that Stroman and Gray completely botched. At best, you’re up 24-0 4 seconds into the second quarter…the games over before it even started.

Just absolutely brutal how they managed a way to lose this game.

Among the worst losses in recent ND history because its consequences. The coaches/team didn't seem ready, especially on defense. Oh, and the timing of the first two games was the result of awful scheduling.

They were ready to start. Completely dropped the ball on defense after the first few series.

Beating Miami would've been stealing a win. Losing to A&M was snatching defeat from the jaws of victory
