Tebow rips Brady Quinn and ND

I don't mean to single you out, since several other people in this thread have said the same thing. Why are so many ND fans willing to assume that Quinn made disparaging remarks about Florida? If he had, it obviously justifies Tebow's comments to a certain extent, but we have no evidence of it.

A former Gator publicly disparages ND, and many ND fans automatically assume it was justified, without any evidence, because Quinn might have disparaged UF. Is "Battered Fan Syndrome" is a thing? Have a little pride.

My point ...Quinn was not going to be anyone's b!tch, and that I doubt he just took it from Tebow ...I intended the "speed training" comment to be a HYPOTHETICAL COMEBACK...not justification for Tebow...

Not sure how we got here, but I am actually explaining the intent of a hyptheical comeback attributed to a guy responding to something that may or may not have actually been said by another guy...WOW, hurry up Ireland.

But...before I do...suggest more care be taken to understand the intent of a poster before you start the "have some pride" sh!t ...My ND fan pride is just fine...mine doesn't get tangled in my skirt, or cause my supple skin to be irritated around my posterior when someone cracks a joke...I think inappropriate or unjustified indignation makes us look whiney....and what more of a sign of "Battered Fan Syndrome" is there?

Didn't realize that was a hypothetical comeback. I thought it was a hypothetical insult, to which Tebow's comments were a comeback; which would actually be a justification for his disparaging ND.

Several other posters in this thread have suggested that Quinn must have insulted UF to provoke such a response from Tebow, despite having no evidence of such. That appears not to have been your intent.
